Omg, the "p" and "q" shape makes so much sense now! I've tried the slip lead on both my dogs, and I keep noticing how it affects which direction they are going and I could never put my finger on why. Now I know!! Thank you for this video 😊
Correct. With a slip lead, it won't release properly around the dog's neck if the dog moves to the other side. Which means if the dog pulls, the collar portion of the leash could get too tight for comfort.

Does that mean if I walk the dog on the left and put the lead that way, they aren't allowed to break and walk on the right side?
