Well Danny, you're spending my money. First off fabulous video. I truly appreciate showing how to make these changes and they are very cool. I have a brand new 2023 RAV4 XLE and I just ordered the turnsignals in the mirror upgrade. Also the hood lift cylinders are a great improvement. As you pointed out it's a shame Toyota didn't do some of this on their own. But thanks for the great idea's.
You what I absolutely hate, that I can't see the buttons for the cabin light.

Someone solved this using clear bumper dots so you can feel them.
I loved ♥ your angle of camera to small details.
didnt even know that the hood struts were an option, looks dope opening the hood with one hand!

I did the hood mod and put 1/4 inch rubber mat in the space, works like a shock absorber
I changed all my interior lights to LEDs and got the blue trim liners for all the openings and cup holders but I never knew some of these existed. Thanks for this video.
Is the backlighting for the infotainment system bright enough on sunny days?

What was the name
For side mirrors. You don't need pry tool just pull it from the outer edge, much faster than prying it off.

Nice Rav4 4.5. My 2018 Rav4 XLE (Rav 4.4) has a total Lasfit conversion done to it. I may have to consider getting those side turn signals now. Sadly the side mirror turn signals are a sealed unit like the 4.5. Strange that my 2018 C-HR XLE uses a bulb and is not a sealed unit. I did the Lasfit total conversion on my C-HR as well :-) The turn signal is all amber on the C-HR and very bright at night.

The LED light bowl for the driver side will disable the power control for the side mirror when the car is updated with the latest Toyota software.
Nice video man….I changed all of the interior lights to LED’s a couple of years ago on my 2019 Adventure model and it makes a world of difference. Toyota should be ashamed of those stock lights are they give literally no light. Awesome video man✌🏽😃✌🏽

Trunk cover that hs sides is a must to protect plastics while having stuff in the trunk
I was taught in the military to keep gear secured in case of an accident or rollover--if you apply this concept you shouldn't need to worry about having loose gear damaging plastics.

Please tell me if there is a way to hang my spare tire on a roof Rack. let me explain. I have to ride from Tampa Florida to ORMC IN Orlando Florida for treatments. its a nightmare on my back and body.
I'm looking to put a bed body in the back of my 2019 Rav 4 Prime XLE.
I plane on using the spare tire wheel well for medical supplies and clothing changes since I have to stay in the area for 3 days at a time. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Hello. I’m planning to get rav 4 xse hybrid How’s the rav 4 driving experience?
i'm looking at all these mods and then some.
I think the door handle light is to bright and not necessary. One year after posting that I installed the mini lights above the door handle and Love them. I'm going to install the 3 compartment lights on the dash also, looks good with a bit more light.
Just a thought will any of these mods void your warranty

There’s a little hood vibration at high speed with the ditch light brackets-but should be solid on a hood without ditch lights

Hey I got the led bowl door handles and the power window led switch as well....how am I supposed to connect both? Do I connect the harness of the les door handle to the power window switch harness and then the end of that into the power window connection?

They’re orange-it’s the factory trim color for the adventure models

@@dfleurius looks like I got style B-only has an illuminated dash versus illuminated window icon.
What roof rack do you have ? Does it completely replace the factory rails ?
Is it capable of attaching a roof top tent ?

After installing them how have they faired so far? The sequential lights and button switches
The hood struts stacked on my ditch light mounts have created a little bit of vibration in the hood, but other than that everything has performed extremely well and have not caused any issues
Do they make an overhead console with sunroof controls that light up? It sucks the overhead buttons don't light up.

Can I ask where did you get your window vents from? Brand/model?

The trd should come with eibachs, bigger tires, and recovery hooks
I just bought a new 21 trd and i agree it should have come standard and i wish the engine was also a turbo as well
@@wolfstriker3992 Ford has been putting out great numbers with their EcoBoost engines-if we can’t have a V6 RAV4 again, we should at least be offered a turbocharged one!

So for my rav4, my hood doesn't have holes or bolts for the hood struts. should I get holes drilled or do I have to get a new hood or what would you suggest?
Assuming it’s the current model-you don’t need to make any modifications. The strut kit is designed to mount right up with the factory hardware
@@DannyRocksteady it's a 2019 and it doesn't have the side mounts like yours. It has the bolt on the frame but not the hood. There's not even bold holes on the hood
@@jedcrossman1622 you have to use the bolts that are securing the hinge to the hood
Why has your engine by got no covers or sound proofing on the bonnet. My below windscreen plastic panel run-through whole with there is no gap between wing the hinges come thought rubber slots. Do the cut down on sound proofing for USA cars.

Nice mirror light install, but it would have been helpful to see the process that you fast-forwarded through where you were positioning the wiring for the light in the driver’s mirror.
It’s literally a plug and play process. Unplug the old one, plug in the new one, reinstall.

Are these a fit for the 2024 RAV4?
There haven't really been any major updates between 2019 and 2024.
Does doing these mods void any part of Toyota’s warranties?
It would only void whatever part failed . So say your aftermarket turn signals messed up the wiring at some point , then you’d have no warranty covering the damage caused by then
Do they make these accessories for a 17, 4th Gen?
They do have some previous generation accessories on there-you’d have to check to see exactly what is available tho.

What I like about my RAV4 is simplicity. I don't need to see lots in my window switched. That's a touch thing. You don't look down there every time you want to open a window. I'm more interested in practical options.
Good video. But removing Japanese-made parts to install Chinese-made parts seems like a bad idea. Even if they are a bit cooler.

Watch the hood install. Some report that the thin metal up there may bend. I already see the hood vibrate as it's not glued that well to the underneath support.
You forgot the horn... a 10 min $20 fix.
Yeah I’ve taken it out on the trail and there’s definitely a lot of vibration in the hood, but it hasn’t been too crazy-already did the horn when I swapped out my grille. Easy $20 mod!
What did you guys do to the horn? I’m interested as the current sound like a beetle

I would not replace original Toyotas part with something made in China if I didn’t have to.it might last for not very long compared with Toyotas original parts.
Nightmare 1 when you want to lower your windows and have to turn the light on so you can see. Nightmare 2 when you want to turn the interior light on and don't see where to press cause they are also dark. Toyota you can do better.
First world problems.
