I am so disappointed with the Louvre. When I studied fine art I was taught art is anything you can get away with. People are art as well. So sorry they acted as Asses. It breaks my heart. You should have gotten yourself some perfume however. You should never just let security stop you before you try. You are beautiful and there is no reason to not be able to not go into any place to have what you desire. Both of you.
Alabaster Crowley I feel like that could be interpreted by all people differently, art is a universal word, it means something different to everyone, but, that's the beauty of it
Think about it. A canvas painted blue with a red stripe down the middle. As soon as some one pays you money for it or hangs it in their place. It's art. Pile garbage in a gallery and call it an installation. If they go for it. It's art. Get it. The art world has masterpieces and pieces of work.
my boyfriend was able to recognise your voice all the way in our sitting room while I was watching your video. It was so cute! he knows I'm a massive fan
I like how they are trying to seem as nice as possible while being completely discriminatory. I hope somebody pics up this story and makes it headline news. Oh and Matthias's reaction in the Ferris wheel was the cutest thing i've seen all week.
Richard Powell She actually ended up tweeting them about it and the Louvre got a shit storm of bad publicity for it, after they found out she was semi-famous they realized they had fucked up so they scheduled her a VIP tour

TradGoth96 I agree with you, although Freyja is so nice, she probably won't ever charge. ^^ It is very annoying, watching the tourists in this video. They jump forward awkwardly for a picture, take it quickly, then zip away after an even more awkward "thank you". They'll probably never even look at it again.
Miss Black Cat actually it's fcking rare to see a goth in Paris, unfortunatly France is not a goth country :/ I always have to travel in Germany in order to see my favorite bands because they never play in Paris >. < that sucks
HybridTheory98 I saw a lot of Lolitas in Paris, including gothic ones. I would have thought parisians would be used to seeing alternative people. Then again, these guys were clearly tourists, so idk.

Depending on your mood, it can be fun, insulting, or inconvenient. A friend used to get so many photo requests that he refused to do it unless he was paid. It was a long time ago and it was surprising how much $$ he made. It would be a great way to move to Paris without a work permit for people who can handle exploiting themselves.
I don't really think she was uncomfortable, so much as... inconvenienced, because so many people wanted pictures, it meant they had to stop very frequently. I personally think it's kind of nice and flattering that people wanted pictures, instead of avoiding and insulting them. Aria S not my opinion but after living in Paris for a couple of years I know why. The people who work there probably see goth people (or anyone who dresses very differently) as not fit to be in a place like the louvre. (the way they dress is probably seen as a joke by the museum people thus disrespectful). (not my opinion at all so no one attack me)
Maybe because they would attract too much attention. You can see at 5:00 that they attract a looooot of people, and since the Louvres is a quiet place, it would has disturb the place.
Aria S I don't get it either. Why would their hair and clothes be a problem in a museum?? Weird. And who said they couldn't? And what was their reason?
Putting aside the fact that it's horribly discriminatory there is a logical and pragmatic reason. There is a lot to see at the Louvre, tour groups and crowds need to keep flowing, not clog the space. Only so many people at a time can see the paintings and it's frustrating when areas get over-crowded. They attracted enough attention to stop people and cause a distraction. In her other video she mentions that the staff said they could schedule a private tour. It still sucks though.
You're either kicked out of places or bombarded with pictures. It doesn't seem fair when you're just trying to be who you are. Just know there are people who respect you and love! Don't lose hope, you're an awesome person + so beautiful. ❤

That's really cool! My experiences with Sephora hasn't been great. The employees always come as a little uppity and mean, and it's not the most fun/welcoming environment :/

This video is just beyond amazing! I feel so bad they didn't let you guys get in to the Louvre, you really deserved that experience. You make me want to visit Paris! thank you so much for sharing with us a part of your life! :3 Much love!!
I'm so glad I don't get a bunch of people wanting to take pictures with me like that (although admittedly I NEVER go out except for groceries and such, and I don't live in a big city) because I'm extremely uncomfortable with cameras and as much as I want to break the stereotypes about goths being angry or rude or whatever I feel like if someone tried shoving a camera in my face I'd turn my face away and raise my middle finger at them.
Even when things are seriously shitty, you two seem to remain so polite and sweet. I have to say youre definitely my favourite youtuber, even just based of personality alone.

Holy shit, a line formed to take photos...omg that's ridiculous. No one in America would ever be like that, especially in major cities. I'm glad you and your hubby laughed and kind of took the situation in stride. I would have been angrily snapping at people after a short period of such attention :p Anyway, I love watching your videos!
It's Black Friday ikr? I bought one of her liquid lipsticks in the shade Outlaw and I almost cried (legit) bc the formula felt so nice. I'm gonna ask my mom for the Alchemist Palate for my birthday too bc damn her shit is🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow! that crepe at the end was literally lit. Wish we serve it like that from our coffee shop! Nice vid, glad you enjoy Paris, well except the one in Louvre.
Despite the supreme bullshit you had to endure at the hands of those bigoted twits, look at the magical time you had with your adoring hubby and all of that wonderful joy you spread everywhere the two of you went! I can't wait for part 2. xxoo
I'm so sorry to see that you have been turned away from joyous experiences so many times that you sometimes stop yourself from even trying so as to avoid the rejection. 😢 You are worthy and appreciated!! Please try to remember that when some groups/individuals fail to see beyond their own noses. 🖤
You guys are royalty. I love how loving the two of you are, how patient, and how very much full of loving life you guys are. It's lovely seeing you so happy. I'm only so very sad/sorry/angry that, after hearing about what happened to you, that you guys were put through hell and high water and discriminated against. Glad you were able to enjoy what you did. The two of you looked so giddy in the ferris wheel! You're great together! Much love from America!
I was having a pretty rough day but your videos always seem to calm me down. I'm sorry that sometimes you have to deal with shitty things, but thank you for being you. You are truly an inspiration. Love from America. 🖤
Melissa Gold It's terrible to watch indeed. This sort of behavior is disgusting and totally unacceptable. I'm happy they reached out to her with an apology and tour for next time. Art is everyone and everyone should be allowed to enjoy it!!!
Yay! You did it!! I was waiting for this video... I can't believe that you weren't allowed to entry and I don't even know they had a dress code! ;) That's unbelievable!
0:59 I am French and really sad that we still judge on the physical appearance! France is supposed to be a country of freedom and equality! ( Sorry for my English, useless !)
Fois gras *not sure how to spell it* is absolutely horrendous. They absolutely torture the birds, force feeding them corn through a tube until they almost explode. Google the pics. Apart from that, totally Loved the vlog xx
I was thinking the same thing while I was watching it, but then I realized that unfortunately the practice is not going to stop just if they chose not to try it. There are some even more cruel culinary practices going on in France than this. We can only hope the new generations will change it all.
Lpt Mail Well, when you eat meat or milk you can't say that. Did you know that little cow (Sorry dont know the english word) are separeted from theyr mothere to early just to have more milk ? Have you seen videos of how pig or chiken live before they are killed ? For me it's a little bit stupid to say that animal dont surffer before and it's why fois gras is horrible. Try to think about what you eat.
look how matthias patiently waited for a kiss

i know! they're so great together. i'm glad that they're happy. xD

Holy shit, a line formed to take photos...omg that's ridiculous. No one in America would ever be like that, especially in major cities. I'm glad you and your hubby laughed and kind of took the situation in stride. I would have been angrily snapping at people after a short period of such attention :p Anyway, I love watching your videos!
oh that view and you get to be there with your hubby. thank you for letting me be apart of your journey.
My Grandmom was a Guerlain trained cosmetologist, was blown away to see their shop in your vid! :)
🍒🍒🍒🍒 I adore your vlogs
Yay thanks :D x
It's Black Friday You're welcome :)
The title+the French sounding music+the content.......you guys are awesome 👌and omg the Sephora thing 😂 I can relate
UGH I live in Paris but I wasn't there the weekend you went ! I'm so sad I wish I could've seen you :^((((
I saw Kat Von D in the thumbnail and I got extra excited.
Omg the stuff I got from KVD is so nice, instant love ❤️
It's Black Friday ikr? I bought one of her liquid lipsticks in the shade Outlaw and I almost cried (legit) bc the formula felt so nice. I'm gonna ask my mom for the Alchemist Palate for my birthday too bc damn her shit is🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
*Palette lmao
Wow! that crepe at the end was literally lit. Wish we serve it like that from our coffee shop! Nice vid, glad you enjoy Paris, well except the one in Louvre.
I still feel so bad you had an unfortunate experience while in Paris :(
I watch all of your travel vlogs. You make the most enjoyable vlogs to watch : )
Broke my heart when you walked away crying at the Louvre. I think thats the first time I've seen you cry on camera. Those security people were awful!!
Any video that ends with a flaming dessert is okay by me.
Michael Smith
Crepes Suzette?
But of course.
Much love from America!
it's so sad that you were denied entry! It's fucked up! Everyone deserves a chance to go someone no matter how they dress or look.
somewhere
I was having a pretty rough day but your videos always seem to calm me down. I'm sorry that sometimes you have to deal with shitty things, but thank you for being you. You are truly an inspiration. Love from America. 🖤
So she attracted mass crowds...but is it because she's goth or beautiful?? Or both
Sarah Pepper Why, because she is our godess - Momma Bat ♡ Because of her beauty, of course ;)
i love the travel vlogs where the host isn't an overly hyped, skater, wannabe, youtube needs more people like you two. :)
This breaks my heart..
Melissa Gold
It's terrible to watch indeed.
I really hope people can get over the fact that others like to dress differently. I hope you're doing okay now!
I'm so glad you were able to get the footage back!
It annoys me when places have dress / look restrictions.... so disrespectful....
that coat with the fur is everything!

I am French and really sad that we still judge on the physical appearance! France is supposed to be a country of freedom and equality!
( Sorry for my English, useless !)
You 2 are so patient and kind about all the weirdos taking photos of you.. wishing you so much happiness. And screw the louvre!
Fois gras *not sure how to spell it* is absolutely horrendous. They absolutely torture the birds, force feeding them corn through a tube until they almost explode. Google the pics. Apart from that, totally
Loved the vlog xx
@@meatriix I don't give a fuck about the calf. I just want my beef and milk. Simple as.
Guerlain makes the best makeup primer, the gold flake one...it's amazing, I use it everyday.
