This is a really good observation of the slightly skewed azimuth in which so many heresies find their start. People really thirst for a particular spiritual need to be filled, they reach out for what seems to be the banner carrier for suiting that one particular need, only to find later that it was a myopic focus without the glory of the whole symphony.

Umm..we still have that call, it's called the call to holiness, or sanctification.

You are right, and I believe there is an overlap between the call to holiness and God's plan of divinization. We need to hear this language of divinization though because it makes the call to holiness that much more powerful. It is easy to see the call to holiness as just a list of ways to be a better person, to be good, but if we see it as it truly is, allowing God to transform us into true sons and daughters of God, sharing in His divinity, then why would we not want to submit to Him and allow Him to work in our lives?

@@ThatNerdyCatholic Thanks for your feedback! I understand, but as talked in the video, there is a concern that people might misunderstand and misinterpret the term not for the benefit of the Church.

This insightful video harkens back to two episodes of Scripture, particularly the New Testament.
Paul in Athens, a paraphrase: _You're religion is good, you're shrine to an unknown god is good. BUT it needs more __-cowbell-__ Jesu._
Jesus and the Unitarian of the well: They _worship what they do not understand._

This is EXCELLENT. I spent a fair few years in gentle, herb-scented, flowery Neo-paganism, and this echoes my experience. So many Catholics get caught up in the Grand Guignol of the "Hail Satan" geeks*, but that's not at all what's going on for most New Agers. It is sincere. It's not prurient. That's why there's hope for those on that path. It may well lead to the Truth. I think an appropriate response would be the same sort we'd have to Hindus or Buddhists -- we do disagree on many things, but that doesn't mean they're actively pursuing Evil.
*Most "Satanists" think they're engaged in a political experiment on "Freedom of Religion" and are actually atheists. St. Michael protect them.

Being in the state of sanctifying Grace (habitual Grace) is participating in God’s Divinity.

Thank you so much., But the Bible and Church teachings say's that our final destination is not heaven...But on a new earth, with new resurected bodies. And the new Jerusalem will come down from heaven to the new Earth.

Why can't it be both heaven and the new Earth?

New age is not all the same....there is also humility and this idea like we are god is fake and presented in some branches of new age but original teachings of ascended masters they speak about and humility and not that we are gods
