Hello 👋, a rule of thumb when digging them up with a clam gun, you want to tilt the gun a little toward the ocean and you usually won’t cut them in half. What I usually do is when I hear a little crack or feel a crunch I pull out the clam gun right away and start digging with my hands 👍

@@xx99treexx yes the tide has to be a negative tide inorder to find them and also make sure you check the beach you plan on digging the rules and regulations of when they allow clam digging. Happy hunting my friend!
