The only thing that puts me off buying a go pro is the music I find playing in all the videos showcasing its performance, it's pretty amazing how offputting it is seeing as the footage is incredible
so you dont need a clear plastic case? you can just put it in the open case that it comes with and it will work fine underwater?

I got the new go pro recently! was surprised how good it is!
Skip on 120 fps recording until youtube and other host sites actually support it, it's a shame they don't as it makes a huge difference in clarity of motion... soooo smooth. Then, of course, the end user needs to have a high refresh rate panel for viewing too.... but once you get into it, unreal.

Is this 100% good waterproof so you don’t need a case like even for safety just in case ? Or you’ll be fine without any case at all just regular go pro in water?

I was so worried the 1st time putting my New Hero 6 in the water. I was pleasantly surprised at not only the waterproofing but the video quality & how well the sound worked after coming out of the water. Have you tried any of the dive housings they make for the new go pros or have you tried any of the filters? I'm curious about buying one.

Hey I recently purchased a hero 5 black, and I was wondering if it is durable enough without an additional housing for me to use when snowboarding. I've checked the prices online for additional dive housings like the super suit, but they go for 50$, so just wondering through your experience, have you experienced any problems so far?

I just got the Hero 5 but the background audio noise is so loud even in a silent room, in fact it's worse! Do they all do this? Did you have to process the sound to reduce the noise?

João Marcos it really depends on impact. If you are just going into water gently, it's the normal amount of water pressure, so it won't impact the water resistance. If the GoPro is hitting the water really hard during a surf session, while kayaking in white water rapids, or any other high impact water sport, it may be more prone to be flooded with water, because the water pressure is higher. Hopefully that makes sense. I own the hero 5 and that hasn't happened to me, but if you are doing anything extremely high impact, I would recommend buying a housing or using extra precautions when using your GoPro. Hope this could help! Happy filming!

1080p 120FPS Degrades quality so much. Its seems like 720p to me :D
Lot of that is probably just youtube compression because there is no shift in quality.

This may seem like a silly question but I just got mine today and I'm curious how you were able to post the 4K video, when I was using the app to transfer the files that I recorded in 4K it told me it wasn't supported. The Capture app told me I could only do 1080 P at 30 fps. Is 4K only available when I'm transferring the files to a computer?
Kayla Garica yes 4K is only supported when you transfer it via computer, if you were to wirelessly transfer it to your phone it would take about 2 hours to transfer 30 mins of video because the amount of pixels
