    I used your discount code. BTW....I wipe down my domes with baby shampoo which is ok for oceans before I jump in the water. I think this rig with my new GP11 will be able to replace my Aquatech DSLR housing and make it much easier to travel with.

    Do you weight the unit to bring it diving? It's not neutrally buoyant no?

    • @DannyBlack
      @DannyBlack  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thx for the question and yes you need to weigh it down hope that helps

  • @jdqcdc

    Quick question, is there much difference between the TELESIN protective housing and the official gopro one (besides the price). I recently bought to gopro official case and I wanted to know if I got ripped off. Thanks, really cool video!

    • @AdamBoltGoldCoast
      @AdamBoltGoldCoast 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The GoPro is a better build as it has foam padding on the housing door to keep the GoPro from moving in the housing, and it also has an extra locking latch which makes it less likely for the housing door to open when under water. However, as far as performance goes and image quality, I can not see a differnce between the two.
      I'd have no trouble recommending the Telesin waterproof housing over the GoPro, especially for the money.
      in fact I find the Telesin easier to use as the 2nd locking pin on the GoPro housing makes it difficult to open, and always makes me feel like I am going to break it when opening it.

    thank you for the awesome video, i wanted to know how did you cope with the positive buoyancy of the setup, as it’s massively buoyant even with lights attached, it keeps trying to pop up to the surface constantly for me. please if you have any ideas for making the whole setup neutrally buoyant underwater that would be incredible! thanks 😊

    • @DannyBlack
      @DannyBlack  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your comment and great question. Have you tried adding some counterweights to it to help with making it neutrally buoyant. Give that a go and let me know how you get on with it. Thx Danny

    • @AdamBoltGoldCoast

      Yes as the waterproof housing is built into the dome itself.

    Hi we are trying to fit Camgo Waterproof LED colour lights to the Telesin diving rig stabilizer. However, both the lights and the stabilizer arms have FEMALE 1/4 inch threaded sockets. How do we attach the lights to the upper arms? Is there another part we must buy to mount the lights. {We can attach lights closer together on the lower shoe mounts, but want wider separation. Hope you can advise}. Cheers from Australia

    It makes no sense to use a dome while diving. Why would it improve image quality? Its only useful for shots on the surfarce. While diving i only see disadaventages (Buayancy, max depth, dirt, scratches). For stabilisation or lights you just need a rig without a dome...
