      Thanks for watching! It's definitely a totally different car, especially in the lower gears. Seems to do a little better on MPGs too. Something I didn't mention in the video! Not by much, but maybe a 0.5 mpg gain.

    Thank god someone else said something. My FiST also does the “shifting lunge,” from first to second. Ive been apologizing to my passengers, while insisting it was the car.

      have you checked your engine mounts? After rmm upgrade, i did my upper mounts and those were lose as hell.

    My comment is late, but I know what you mean about the 1st to 2nd gear shift and my car is stock. It only seems to be the fist shift from 1st to 2nd. After that its ok.

    I’ve read that Cobb recently updated their tunes for the FiST. Might be worth checking it out to see how it compares.

      I haven't heard that! I'll see if I can find anything. I just did the dizzy stage 2, so an Intercooler video, as well as a review of the stage 2 are in the works.

      Hillbilly Boost If I’m not mistaken the old tunes were listed as v500 and now are listed as v506 as of June. Don’t know what has changed as I run a Dizzy Stage 2 tune as well and I love it too much to change it lol

    If you run Nitto NeoGen 3 all season tires it solves almost the entirety of traction issues except in 1st gear and in super slick conditions. Mine pulls on par with cars like the porsche 911 targa s 0-100 top speed is about 160-170mph in track mode (push and hold the ecs button for about 10 seconds *the radio display will say traction control disabled* before you release) if you just tap the ecs button it enables sport mode but on a tune the stability controls will still fight you.

    • @hillbillygarage1270
      @hillbillygarage1270  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      A Targa S runs low 12s and does 0-60 in low 4s or high 3s. I don't see how a stock turbo Fiesta is going to compete with that. And top speed shouldn't change with traction control on or off. Top speed is dependent on gear ratio. As long as the limiter is removed there shouldn't be a difference whether it's on or off.

    • @hillbillygarage1270
      @hillbillygarage1270  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The car is actually gone now. That being said, I never had a single issue in the 15k miles or so that I had tunes on it. I had run stage 1, 2, and e30 tunes from Dizzy without issue.

    5:14 i get that jerk aswell. From first to second. Precise foot movement stops this. I have just bought one with no tunes or mods. May check to see if previous owners put an engine mount in. When i go from 1st to second it sound like something is loose in engine bay. Im new all this btw.

    Looking for a fun commuter car since gas is 5 buck a gallon, with your tune port can you switch back between stock and stage 1 . Not that I would except possibly in snowy condition

    Is the accesport you bought unmarried from the last owner... Or does it even matter since you used dizzy instead of Cobb?

    • @hillbillygarage1270
      @hillbillygarage1270  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, every accessport has to be unmarried from its previous car, regardless of the tuner. Otherwise it will not work. If you buy a used one make sure it's unmarried, because the cost to unmarry is about 75% of the cost of a brand new one.

      Don't worry, it's pretty straight forward. Just download Cobb's AP software from their website. Any tune file you get can be transferred into the software. Then connect your AP to your computer and place the tune onto the AP. If you want more detail, use this link for instructions!
