Often times when a person is involved within an abusive relationship, often times they have experienced abuse before, and they often will attract partners that are abusive because that person has not gone through the healing necessary to get over whatever the original trauma was. Though people who don’t come from trauma can also end up in abusive relationships, love bombing and promises that it’ll never happen again once you are completely invested make it that much more difficult to leave. once your feelings are involved with someone and you want to see the best of them, when they do react violently but then promise over and over that it will never happen again and how sorry they are, it is very easy to fall back into that cycle. It has nothing to do with about liking any type of rush, but rather hoping that the person that you love will stop harming you since they say that they love you as well. Before you come on the Internet and show your true ignorance, really do some research because you’re just misinformed.
@@lawrencetrujillo7365 It's much more complex than that. There is the fear of social stigma in many traditional communities and religions. There is the fear of financial hardship. The fear of loneliness. The fear of disrupting the kids... And then there's gaslighting - many of these sociopaths are very skilled at convincing their partners that they are the ones at fault. I'd encourage you to develop a more charitable and informed attitude.

This is one of those cases that left me slightly shook. I'm from Nashville but I also worked the school where Holly studied the beauty industry. Ever since this killing made the headlines, I've wondered what exactly went down. Holly presented herself very well and seemed like a pretty sweet person in the interactions I had with her. So wild and tragic that it seems she never had the slightest clue as to what was coming for her. :(

Daggum! Nashville has been in the news A LOT lately for very bad crimes. I left there in 2012, moved an hour away and never looked back.
Many other places aren't much better. I lived in Hendersonville for 8 years and it's a lovely town. I'd move back in a second except for 2 things- they have winter there and I grew up on the beach, which is 500 miles away from there so no go.
Where I live, I deal with tornadoes, blizzards, and stifling humidity. But it's home. And there's not much violent crime, but the worst crime we've had was bad enough that Mike made a video about it. (Two high school students took the life of their Spanish teacher and it was BIG news because this really is one of those places where nothing like that ever happens!)

I live in Austin and once took my car in for service at a Charles Maund dealer. I dropped it off in the morning and when I went to pick it up after work, no service had been done. While I was waiting for the service manager to come talk to me, I watched him go past a Hispanic technician and call him a, well the term used as if he had swum across the Rio Grande river. He got to me and I was seething. He attempted to explain what had happened but I cut him off and told him to bring me my keys. Eventually he did, but not after trying to find out why I was so mad. I told him he was trash and would never get my business again. And they haven’t. I even got a call from the man himself and hung up on him. The entire family it appears is trash.

Call their bluff, tell them you ain’t giving them a single dime, and they’ll just move on to the next mark. And if by chance they do follow through with it and “expose” you, chances are nobody will take them seriously. If they do take them seriously, just laugh at them for believing scammers and their fake evidence.
That’s not how blackmail works … once they found out he’s willing to pay they will just keep asking for more until he can’t pay and probably just expose the info anyways
