How come there's not one picture of that place being built. It's already there with the windows already halfway in the ground.🤷🏼‍♂️

Walked by that building countless times in the 70s and never knew what it was. I know now.

my grandfather worked at the Detroit Club in the early 1900's until he retired years later. My dad worked there as well.

My daughter’s father use to work there. I remembered the inside. Very nostalgic.

Such a beautiful building. We will be making reservations soon for a room and dining. Can't wait.

The music is too loud. Drowns out what is being said

I love this content, but that piano is louder than the narration.

Would have been a better video if I could hear the narrator over the overly loud piano music

I gave it a "like" anyway.

Ah, the joys of social media --- where everybody, no matter how unqualified, is able to show off their incompetence...

Interesting, but so much is lost under the overly load music.

This is a nice piece. From a professional perspective, please consider remixing your sound. The Music Track over rides your narration, which is more important.

Music drowns out the commentary. Not too bright.

I'm friends with a prominent Grosse Pointe family, I believe I've been most everywhere but there.

The Detroit Club is still as seen in the video, the DAC (Detroit Athletic Club) is located next to Comerica Park on Madison and Brush st.

Well, DAC and DC f4different places; different clubs. Never a connection stock-wise. Some people have belonged to both, true. This little video is interesting because it has interior shots of the Clubhouse on Cass when the Club had it, toward the end on Cass in 2013 but still as beautiful inside as the outside to the final day. Through a specially -created building preservation foundation to which a number of DC members and former members contributed, in between the " Closure That Was Shot Down " in April 1996, and the sale to some people about 15 years later, who then sold it to the present people who have a restaurant, etc in there now , the
exterior and some interior were painstakingly restored by the world famous Graduate School of Historic Restoration@W.U

Glad somebody else noticed that. At 6:02 he pronounced Charles Lindberg's name as "Lindenberg." Probably shouldn't go with the lowest bidder when hiring a narrator.
