My old girl would pee inside every now and then in her last 6 months especially at night. I always told her it was ok. I put her to sleep 2 weeks ago and I'm so glad I never shamed her for that. She was the most loving, loyal, funny staffy and the good days far outweighed the bad. I miss you baby girl!
Hey Lisa . Check my pages out. Google , Facebook , TH-cam . Most displaying my old boy Bruno. I've had abuse and and .. been exposed to much. Instead of letting that hold me back. I used all that trauma to guide and raise my daughter the way I THINK every Father should. Thats why she grew up with my Bruno . Rotti x Boerboel. Confident , strong , loving . Putting him down last Aug broke me . Nothing I experienced has ever hurt me more then that. I just could not let him suffer from spondylitis anymore. He was 9. I said I wasnt interested in allowing another to be that close to me again . Until the Universe placed one in my space. That really needed me. And 6 months ago it happened. There is so much I have learnt about the grieving process and dealing with it all. Your girl lived for you. And she felt all your emotions. She can never be replaced. But another soul will find it's way to you . That needs you. And as much as you miss her. She will be happy that you share her space with another special being. People think dogs are just Animals. They have no idea
Sorry for your loss, I too had to put my baby boy to sleep this past July 2 2024, I’m still not over his passing. He was 13 years old, he was the most loving, sweet and my everything. May god help all of us and find peace with the passing of our beloved pets.
The point about senior dogs literally brought me to tears. My old girl passed away just over 2 years ago now. When she first started having accidents I got a little angry/frustrated bc I didn’t understand yet. Once I realized I would’ve cleaned up all the stray terds and piddles in the world for her. Miss my good big girl, Hazel. 💗💗💗
I moved to a new place that has a garden with grass and my dog loves it. We walk four times a day, trying new ways to get back home is one of my dog’s favorite things to do.
One of the simplest and most effective ways to strengthen your bond with your dog is through regular walks. Regular walks trigger the release of feel-good hormones in your dog's brain, making them feel happy and content and more attached to you. Additionally, walks provide opportunities for interaction and play, further strengthening your bond.
You might think that all dogs are the same and respond to affection and attention in the same way. But the truth is that every dog has a unique personality and different needs. Just like humans, dogs have varying personalities - some are playful, some are calm, some are social, and some are independent. Studies have shown that training methods that work well for one dog may have the opposite effect on another. For example, a dog that loves to be petted may hate being hugged. Or a dog that is accustomed to being alone may need constant human companionship. These differences highlight the importance of understanding and catering to your dog's unique personality and needs in order to build a strong and healthy relationship
@@DoggyPaw1 No, I don't "think that all dogs are the same and respond to affection and attention in the same way". This video addressed BASIC psychological needs for all. For one, this video stated/implied that no dog likes being hugged because they feel restricted, etc. Also, dogs are "pack animals" so none of them, innately, ever likes being alone. If a dog is "independent", that is abnormal behavior from their INNATE behavior, and is probably due to some BASIC need not being during their development, or developed from some "negative" experience, like abuse, etc.
We just lost our 14 year old angel 💔💔💔😭😭😭🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼 Well be together again Gus , I can’t wait to see you again! LThank you for all our love .. miss you sugar! 😔
Leave Technology at Home -be in the moment with your dog as you walk-you'll be far better off and be able to assess and react to external circumstances!!! I absolutely Love and Adore dogs-they are they Best and bring Limitless Joy to our Lives!!
Oh yeah, my everyday beef is people who are constantly on their phone on walks and not interacting at all with their dogs. Why do you have them? I carry on a continuous dialogue and often laugh with mine.
I never have scolded any of my dogs over the years for having potty accidents. When they get older, they are so ashamed. If they start tearing up something that is entirely different. They will get scolded unless they are still puppies, and then I distract them with toys to redirect attention. I never punish my dogs, but sometimes they need time out.
Thats true! I always let my dog sniff around. But , if he want to go too far on a private property or takes too long, I give a gentle yank on the leash and most of the time, its enough.
I believe dogs can sense & smell particular nutrients in different grasses in tune with their own bodies needs, similar 2 our non addiction based cravings.
One of our dogs, 13, started peeing on the floor every morning. He passed 2 weeks later. Oscar was a beautiful Sharpeagle, friendly, loving and quite comical, seemingly lethargic but when he caught scent of another animal, he was gone in a flash
A study of dogs and their owners has revealed that dogs who receive regular massages from their owners experience lower stress levels and form stronger bonds with their human companions. This research demonstrates that massage is not only enjoyable for dogs but also a powerful tool for strengthening the human-animal bond.
Cherish every walk, every wag, and even the little accidents-they’re all moments of love ❤

I'm so sad for you. I'm currently going through that same thing with my 16-year-old little guy. 😢

So sorry for your loss ❤ So good of you to understand that not everything is possible to control, like small toilet accidents. Love from Irene in 🇧🇻

I agree with all of you wonderful caring people. I absolutely love my sweet Maltipoo and will
do all I can for her!
Netflix and belly rubs. 😂. Whenever I stretch my dog stretches or whenever I yawn she yawns too. So cute.
All of these can be applied to human relationships, too! I found #9 the deepest. 💞💖💞

So true. In Japan we say “ the stomach clock”. My Lab would tell me exactly when 7am and 6pm is the two meal times❤

My Dane presents his butt to be scratched since he can’t quite get to it. Is pretty funny.
