That's some diesels for you, fire up like it's nothing, this peugeot & that old fiesta diesel van a while back, though it was quite rusted, the steering snapped on it right away, do wonder what has become of it & think i saw it in a more recent video. Always some good viewing with these videos from you & always wonder what you'll come out with next.

    The tank will need filling with Diesel because I noticed it's on the low side plus it will need a good service indeed the mileage could well be high you could take into a Peugeot Garage to have the Service done it depends on how much they change for a service. When was it last serviced its worth checking the Service book.

      If you still have it, you still have life ahead of you!
      That engine can last more than 20,000h without problems (I put that 20,000h would be equivalent to about 800,000km)
      My uncle has an Iveco Daily with the same engine, it has more than 20,000 hours and the engine has never been repaired, the engine is original, as is the clutch, turbo.
      It has 200,000km, but most of them were made in the city, and I estimate that it 20,000h of use because it is a crane and you can spend more than 6 hours working without stopping, and that crane is almost 20 years old.

    But this Boxer at least here in Brazil is not common for this to happen but because it is a new vehicle its body has corroded. Is the region there very humid? Strong hug!

      Yes and in winter they use salt on roads that makes cars even more rust.

    Is normal that air ending from oil cap? I think.... From all that kilometers. Anyway, second truck is strange that remains still accelerate despite you started from some minutes... And it's diesel, I think only petrol engine makes that.

    • @Flexiny
      @Flexiny  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You mean this Jumz next to Peugeot Boxer or Ford 7700 in the background? Ford 7700 has problems with engine block and cylinder head. It has burned groove between 2 cylinders. And its impossible to find new engine parts for it in Estonia.

    • @creyly8326
      @creyly8326 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ya I was on about the 7700. Shame about the engine they're a good tractor when they're going! The engine going porous is common enough in them, parts are everywhere here in Ireland!
