Ireland- so close ( for us) yet so far. I'm so glad you shared your experiences and the wonders of Ireland. It's great we get to travel though in a very relaxed way- from the comfort of our home. Gorgeous, delightful, delicious and entertaining. So enjoyed this. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🇳🇿🍀
Yep I hear ya. Almost impossible to have only 1 base to see Ireland. You need multiple launch pads. Haha the Blarney Stone. Been a long time since HW bent back and kissed that. Thanks for sharing.
You are right HW...would need a few more trips to see it all! Maybe Like you too, I can no longer bend backwards enough to reach the stone. Thanks for watching!
Back in May, 2019, we did two separate Viator tours from Dublin - Newgrange and the Hill of Tara, and Belfast, Carrack-a-Rede Bridge, Giants Causeway. These were excellent tours. Both were very long days but well worth it. We actually got to go inside of Newgrange which was unforgettable. We've been to the places that you featured, so thanks for bringing back good memories from our two trips to Ireland. Can't wait to go back. The best way to see all of Ireland is to drive on your own and take some of these day trips. Thanks again for posting this video.
Hey, it sounds like you had a great trip. Glad there are video. Can bring back some good memories for you! We need to go back and explore the northern part of Ireland. Hopefully next time around! Thanks for watching and thanks for leaving a comment. Cheers!
@@TravelwithNJSteveandSue When you go back you must go up the west coast of County Sligo and up to Donegal. You just have to see Benbullben (We stayed at a beautiful farmhouse at the foot of it.) and Mullaghmore. Don't miss going to the Aran Islands. Take the ferry from Doolin. On the way back you get to cruise along the Cliffs of Moher. Also, as you drive around Ireland, stop at the less touristy spots. Safe travels.
The ocean is so blue! And the countryside is beautiful and green. I couldn't believe it. You are so lucky to have seen it in person. Did you not have enough time to go to the bottom of the path near the ocean? Just wondering where it took you. Sue, what's the name pf your dance?! 😂 I loved it! How many steps to the top of the castle? THANKS FOR SHARING! Another good video. Loved the group interaction in this one.
Hey good morning! No, we did not have enough time to follow the path all the way to the end but as far as I know it does not go all the way to the ocean....Just to other viewpoints. That was Sue's version of an Irish Gig! Since she's Irish, it came naturally! LOL. It was 128 steps along a narrow stone staircase to get to the top and kiss the stone. Not hard at all and a lot of fun! Thanks for watching! It was an easy trip to Dublin...put it on your list!
Wow Steve that was an early start and a long one ! The Obama rest stop was intetesting so he had roots in Ireland 😯 The sea area looked beautiful and you were lucky with the weather. The views from the tower were stunning and so wye the views from walking. The Blarney Castle looked beautiful and the stone was interesting that you hadc to lean backwards to kiss it . Not a very dignified position haha, I would be like Sue and not do it ! Hope your head is OK Steve 😳 That was a great tour , really informative I really enjoyed watching :) ~ Anna
Hi Anna! As you can see, many beautiful places to visit in Ireland and we only scratched the surface! Glad that you liked it, especially since we consider you a local! (Almost but close enough) Thanks again for watching, and hello to Alf!

Ireland looks like so much fun, you have to be good with walking alot there I see. Barack and Michelle Obama rest area 😂 that was different, looked better than ours here though 😉 How long did it take you to get to the top of Blarney Castle? You made me hungry for some good Irish food now 😋 ( And beer 🍺 😋) Love the Irish series Steve and Sue, hope you have a great weekend 😊
Hey guys! I was a slow 30 min walk to the top because of the line but an easy walk up even with the stone spiral staircase and rope railing! Lots of fun. Great time in Ireland and an easy trip to do, even with all the walking. Food was so tasty...we miss it. And the Guiness...wow...so much better than in the US! I could see you guys doing a taste test! Have a great weekend too and appreciate your support!
That was a great trip out. The cliffs looked awesome bit the castle was absolutely fabulous. You need to be a contortionist to kiss the stone tho 🙂
They were great day trips and did not break the bank. But the Blarney stone kiss almost broke my back! LOL! Thanks for watching!
I want to be here for the weekend well done my friends cheers 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Put in on your bucket list! Well worth the visit! Thanks for watching and have a great weekend!

You shouldn’t have turned back. You missed the best views.
Good point! That is one of the problems with going on a bus tour....you have to follow their schedule! Thanks for watching and for the suggestion!
