At 9:30 just a quick note, the blessing of the butterfly isn't just visual. It is supposed to spawn a prismatic butterfly somewhere in the valley. If you find it (it looks like a butterfly, but changes colors) and stand still close to it, it will approach you and give you a prismatic shard.
Does it really give prismatic shards? At least for the ones I captured they only gave me money
It gave me some coins.
@@thomifron supposedly it does. I've never actually gotten the blessing and found the butterfly
"somewhere in the valley" is it truly random, can it spawn in places like.. inside of the secret woods, across the beach bridge, the outside of dark tunnel
It eithey gives a prisma or 0.5 of your total money earned, up to 50k. This is depending on your daily luck

@@alejandrosand Doesn't get it, it seems. Which is fair as the River lands farm map is the default fishing map.
Makes me want to do another play through on it as my Meadow lands farm is currently mostly fishing focused.
Too bad it takes coal to use. I'm not sure smoking (most) fish is worth putting off tappers, kegs, and upgrades.

NOTE: THE BIG STONE CHEST RECIPE IS ONLY AVAILABLE FROM THE DWARF AFTER COMPLETING THE SPECIAL BOARD QUEST THAT GIVES ACCESS TO THE NORMAL STONE CHEST.
I just realized that people who do Extreme Optimization of their Skull Caverns runs can just pop up their tent next to the entrance. The Booty Express is, alas, no longer relevant.
If you have a full lava eel pond, it will produce 3 cave jellies once in a while, certain other fish ponds will produce river and sea jellies.

The Prismatic Butterfly isn't just a visual thing. If you find it, it will give you some money or sometimes a Prismatic Shard.
the fish smoker is also a ticket prize. it is very early on the list. much faster than 10k gold.
Wait, Sharky, what's the point of legendary fish bait? Did they change it so you can recatch the legendary fish??

I've been a bit of a mess atm and haven't done anything yet, because my OC Hamish has been put into Stardew Valley as a cameo, and it's a crazy one. I had it confirmed by Flashshifter the creator of the SVE mod who works with Eric now. Hamish is actually providing a big feature for Joja run players. My mind has melted...
If you pick the fishing mastery first, you're gonna become a master baiter. As for the chests, you can place them over the smaller ones. It will just replace the smaller chest and put it's content inside the bigger one.

15:05 i started a new file for the update and the moss soup was unlocked. i think i got it after reaching level two or three of foraging
I guess smoker should also be useable on bug meat or bug steak, since that is only other meat in game, as far I know
what is interesting, smoked fish smoke animates even when placed on sign
text sign can be acquired for free when Pam dont use bus for "vacation", you can mine it and keep it

For anyone unaware, you can only catch the cave jelly at level 100 in the mines
You can absolutely catch it at the other fishing levels of the mines as well. I think it's just most common on 100
Start a lava eel pond, cave jellies will come from the pond as well.
I caught mine on my second cast on level 20 so it's definitely not just 100
I believe you can catch it at all fishing levels in the mind

Note about the furnace: it is not guaranteed to give 6 all the time, sometimes it gives 5
USE THE SMOKER WITH ARTISAN AND ANGLER MAXXED AND SMOKE A LEGEND.
The first time I used the tent was when I won one at the trout festival so I could just wake up at the river and go back to fishing

Mhm, i must say that farming statue reminds me of the various harvest moon goddess statues in that series, now I'm personally wondering if there is something underlining here that perhaps there is a harvest goddess but isn't actively worshipped thanks to the rise of yoba. Wouldn't mind if that was the case and this was a sort of nod or hint of which maybe something of a secret hidden plan in the works.

So with the bait maker.. if you put a legendary fish in it.. you can catch more of them? Instead of just 1 of each per save?
I thought u could only catch one legendary fish per playthrough?
He's most likely either using a cheats mod, or he's playing multiplayer which allows two legendary fish to be caught.
No, you can catch more than one
@DRKSTRIKES You can actually catch more than one in the vanilla game, so without cheats and mods!
If you’re in multiplayer you can get one of your companions to catch them.
There is two set of legendary fishes.. The first set is the 1 per playthrough while the other set is by playing mr qi's quest of fishing the legendary... The quest is replayable, the fishes are different from the original legendaries...

At 2:22 THIS IS NOT GOOD ADVICE, each legendary fish can be caught ONCE per player, if you turn it into bait you just loose the fish! The exception to this rule is the cousins of the legendary fish from the qi quest

@@kallynelayane yep. All regular non-fruiting trees are considered "wild"
I have mine under my oak trees and it works well
so its not referring to those new trees you get from mossy seeds
@@iRule37 do you mean mystic trees? I haven't seen it confirmed one way or the other yet, but those should work the same as the other "wild" trees as they aren't a fruit tree.

What is the mod that you install that give information when the mouse hover on it. Can’t find the one updated for 1.6
Check settings for "showed detailed tooltips" which tell you how many times you crafted/shipped. Also for pricing, its a book. No mods needed.
How did he view the time left on the machines? Is that a mod and if so what is it called? 1:28

as of now bait maker is my favorite one.
it's a massive buff for early fishing.
want an easy massive amount of money? catch a sturgeon, put it in the bait maker, and fish for more an entire day. (similar thing can be done with pufferfish and catfish for a lesser extent)
you need more then one of a specific fish? put it in the bait maker, get around 4!

So moss is the coral i guess. I always use coral for speed grow. But now you have to use Moss if I recall. And apparently use moss for a lot of other stuff too. 😮.
I do not understand the recipe thing either honestly when I saw another TH-camr dig up carrots I was ecstatic because I thought maybe we could make some thing like carrot cake. I guess maybe I am weird but I don’t understand why you would add new crops and not recipes. 😢
