the event that triggers the raccoon event is unlocking the green house. a raccoon runs out of it, and the following night you get the noise of the tree falling. just found out in my new save file
no not necessarily the next night I went almost a whole season before the strong windstorm came and blew down the tree after I had gotten my greenhouse
Kind of morbid that the raccoon gives you a hat made of one of his own kind.

Maybe in Stardew valley universe animals just make there itens from they fur, cows give milk all the time, rabbits knit they fur in a leg shape...
@@jm7781 new head lore tbh cause it always icked me a bit to think once a week or so my rabbits just pop a leg off and regrow it in the span of no more than 4 hours lol
The greedy racoon is so funny, seems like a never ending quest line
frogs do not go in the tank, the swamp tank is just a normal fish tank, just looks cooler :) frog egg is a trinket you can put in your inventory (like your clothes and rings) and the frog follows you around and eat enemies in the mines (you can have a fairy and a parrot too!! they both do different things tho)
you can put frog eggs on the tank and it will spawn a frog

A tip for the first Raccon Quest, incase you dont have a whole lot of crab pots, you can actually put the crab pot fish you need in the bait maker to make targeted bait, and then your guaranteed to get that targeted fish from the crab pot.

I had to ask the discord server, apparently they have green tips and purple bottoms if you squint hard enough lol

Foraging is one of my first skills to 10 usually... Combat is my last one, with Fishing (second last) being usually closer to all the others while Combat is much later.
Normally for me it’s farming, mining for sprinkler, then foraging and combat close to each other then some time later normally early year 2 fishing.
for me its fishing, farming, mining, combat and then foraging a few seasons after the rest

The fish smoker no longer requires coal, I think.

they are part of the reward from the late game mastery challenges. A summon that eats monsters in the cave. one of the noted "trinkets." Specifically the summons. Its amazing what concerned ape did with this update
@@emilymares9623 yeah very cool. The frog can swallow 1 enemy then there's a skill cooldown of about 20 seconds before it can do so again

Well, if you have the secret area with the pond open, and you keep going back for more hardwood, the only thing that will be "pricey" is how much time you use and how many days you go. But it's free otherwise.

i think its crazy that there still so many people who just don‘t know stardew valley. Like this game gives so much content and also is very cheap on steam. I think it should get more popularity
you can also get river jellies from midnight carp too if you raised them in a fish pond (but you need to have 10 of them and also it's quite rate too)
i still don't have any idea if sea jellies can be found via fish ponds or not and what fish does it requires to farm it
It's Flounder, starting from 7 fish (maybe less, but i got my first while having 7 of them)

if you do enough quests and get prize tickets you can get a smoker from the rewards machine in Lewis's house ; you actually get some good stuff from there

First time i saw the raccoon was when i completed the bundle for the greenhouse. When the Junimos fixed it up it came jumping out of it, so now I'm in a hurry trying to get a home for it. As i feel a bit guilty for causing the eviction.
I legit have a shed filled with Crystalariums set to every growable mineral with a heaping of Jade for trades and Diamonds for some quick cash

I’m genuinely curious now. With all these new seeds and production machines, can we use the Meadowlands farm as a production farm? Smoked and dehydrated meats and fish, more animal products, can we put sheds on untillable ground???

Started a new farm for 1.6 and caught the river jelly on the 5th day!

So the update is out now but I can't get 8 players working.
It seems that it only creates 8 cabins and that you're still stuck with just four people playing at a time!

I keep up with like so many SDV content creators. You are putting out videos faster than anyone else that I have seen and it is solid A1 content. Props still to Haboo and Mriz and Salemece too. This is like going to heaven for the people who love SDV. The only slow response I am looking forward to is Blade. I see the hard work man. Thanks for sharing.

Stardew still assuming everyone can do fishing mini game and go mining so therefore not a game I will be returning to as still no peaceful mode for mines and no way to deactivate fishing mini game this is where coral island beats stardew valley
Mods exist for both of these features. Also if you’re able bodied and older than 12 you should be able to handle a fishing mini game.

@@suzannastivell2566 if your pc can run stardew it can run simple mods that accomplish both of those things. It does not require you to be tech savvy.
@@suzannastivell2566 Just Google "How to Mod Stardew Valley" and follow the instructions. It's not rocket science. Anyone can do it.
To be fair, CA probably will not change both the problems you have, it adds a challenge and strategy to catching fish and mining. For me, it's more rewarding having the fishing mini game to catch fish and using weapons, rings, forging my weapons etc to get down the mines and skull cavern.
As stated, there are mods to combat these problems you have with those elements, mods are very easy to install. There are many helpful videos on youtube to help people set up their game to install mods.
If you don't want to install mods and these factors in the game are a bother for you, then stardew probably isn't the game for you.
Maybe unpopular opinion, I'm disappointed that the "new neighbors" are animals. I was hoping for some new NPCs to move into town.
