I've been to Skopje twice, returning for my third time in February. Not close to the political and historical situation but I've always had a great time, plenty to see for such a small city, friendly people and the food is incredible!
Macedonia is one and only divided in 1913 between Greece bulgaria and Serbia only one part is liberated in 1944 and theres 1% occupied by Albania in 1913 too when Macedonia was partitioned between and anexed thats why greeks are negating and claiming in the same time its ridiculous thats why name issue, to cover up the occupation and annexation and genocide on over 1 million macedonians from aegean, Macedonia is macedonian common sense dictates it
It's very very sad to not even learn history because of your dictators have expansion plans and trying to change history making you think you are right and the other one is to blame

It's one of the polluted cities in the world. People used to wear masks long before Covid. That "diaper" adds 5/10 years to your average lifespan. Though I would say there are better versions that don't hand on your ears. And there are days when the city is crystal clear. Most people just wear them when it's a bad day in thay regard.

They could name themselves as they please , but claiming Greek ancestry today , who is gonna stop em in the future if they start claiming the region as rightful heirs? Macedonia had the highest rate of deaths caused by COVID 19. Many of them young. Delta variant was the worst. Horrible way to die.
