I was there on Monday, September 14, 1987 at Giants Stadium in New Jersey. The Joshua Tree tour, a fan of U2 since 1980, aged ten and now seventeen years old, taking a train, cab, then a bus to get to East Rutherford, NJ.. Floor seats, I stood on line months beforehand at Ticketmaster the night before to get the best tickets. It had just finished raining, there were some puddles on the blue tarp we stood on. U2 opened with this, of course. Bono was high above us and about 25 feet away, we were up against the front railing. This song is magic, majestic and spiritually inspiring. You, young lady, nailed it. Beautiful workmanship, timing, sound and reproduction. Bravo and thank you. Beautiful in every way, bravo.
