    Thanks for the new channel. I love it. I am a big mountain biker. I have just installed a RTT on a low profile Cali Raised bed rack.... and would love to see how I can mount my bike on with the RTT mounted and bed rack without a diamond back. I was thinking trailer hitch bike rack mount, but it would look way cooler if I could mount to the side of truck instead! Can't wait for this to come out! Happy trails should be your new sign off!

    Hey fellas, I commented on you Floyd Hill vid, and then subscribed to check your channel out. I’m an eMTB’er out of Parker, CO. One of my buddies rode Curt Gowdy with me and decided the next day to buy a used Haibike caused he loved it so much. The 2 of us are always looking to find some cool dudes with ebikes to ride with. Perhaps you guys can think about posting where you’re riding before you go out so a couple of us could join in perhaps. We’re a bit older than you (both in our 50’s), but we can get up and down pretty good and always bring beers for the post ride. Hope to see you guys down the line!

  • @mdogg95

    You and a good friend of mine have convinced me to pull the trigger on a nice bike, so I bought one today. It's an XL, so it's a little cumbersome to transport it. I bought the tailgate blanket and use an extra strap to keep it from moving around, but I'm looking forward to see any other potential solutions you have. Especially ones that don't involve a bed cover, because that's a big expense that is pretty low on my priority list right now. Otherwise, I'm stoked to get back into mountain biking, and I'm glad that somebody I already watch is starting a channel on the topic at literally the same time.

    • @twright1211
      @twright1211 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Buy a fork mount, and screw it into a 2x. Cut the 2x to fit snug next to the tailgate and in between those rear pillars. If you cut it tight enough, it won't go anywhere. You'll spend about $30 total.

    Glad you're starting a MTB channel. I enjoy your overland content but I'm more into MTB. Everything you listed as far as what to put into this channel would be great. Gear reviews, rides, trail reviews from your area, etc.
    I love both of your bikes, all that Kashima is blinding! You mentioned on your other vid that your dropper was broken, if you're considering a new one look at the PNW bachelor. I grabbed one early summer when my horrible Reverb finally died and it's the best dropper I've ever used. The Loam lever from PNW is a perfecxt match.

    One thing i think would be nice to see is, simular to your overlanding on a budget video on your llod channel but for bikes. Maybe take 500$ and build the best bike you can, show some simple and cheap mods. I use to MT bike a fair bit bsck in the day on a cheap bike and loved it! Im starting to get interested in starting up again but unfortunately cant drop thousands of dollars on a bike. Another good idea idea would be a gear video about what you take with you MTBing and how that fits into your EDC and preparedness mindset.
