    Love that idea! I've seen other videos that use bullseye marks to align each part of the engraving. You think out of the box - great!

    So glad to see this as an option but also ultimately glad I cancelled my polar order and went with the 60w 20x28.

    AWW MAN. I thought I had a brilliant idea but as usual I'm late to the party🤣😂. I have a 24 inch piece to make on my Longer 10 watt, with a 16 inch bed. I decided to cut the piece into 4 parts and make a puzzle out it. I see you are WAY ahead of me. I tried using print and cut and made one 24 inch piece out of cardboard but I every time I tried make it with 1/4 plywood it would do some crazy stuff. Thanks for the cool and energetic videos.

    Great video. Super cute hanger. What glue are you using to glue the pieces on and do you have a link to the bottles you have your paint in?

    After you found your new focal height of 10mm..are you then taking that number and subtracting it from the material thickness or is the number you measure your focal height?

    I have the polar and for the life of me I can’t find how to raise and lower the lens to a proper focal distance. Please help. Also, where did you get the little acrylic piece you used to determine the proper focal height?

    • @KimandGarrettmakeit
      @KimandGarrettmakeit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey LightSpeed Laser! Pewpew! In LightBurn, on the Right side where the Cut Layers are, there is a tab that says Move, in the tab you can move the Z Axis. The little triangle came in my little clear "tool box", but I lost it already (its clear LOL) SO I just cut another acute triangle out of the sample of baltic birch. Hope this helps! ~garrett

    When doing the ramp, do you take the lens all the way up?

    • @KimandGarrettmakeit
      @KimandGarrettmakeit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the lens should be all the way up. Then start your cut at the bottom and almost meet the board at the top. Hope this helped! ~garrett

    How do you raise and lower the lens on a axis?

    • @KimandGarrettmakeit
      @KimandGarrettmakeit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Inside Lightburn, on the right hand side where Cuts/Layers TAB is located. Click the TAB Move and this will give you controls that allow you to move your laser head on X, Y and Z axis. Does this help? Thanks LightSpeed! ~garrett

    I think I’d rather just buy the rounds already cut.
