I hate that youre right about Mathurin. It's not a skill issue with him. He's a clear starter level talent with All-Star potential. The fit isnt great right now. The team play (defense, passing, off the ball offense) just aren't there the way they need to be. I wish that wasnt true. Hoping he improves in those areas because if he does, then the Pacers are in the best position to win a championship theyve been in since 2004.
I'm afraid we are gonna trade him. Then he becomes the superstar I know he's gonna be. If we had him in that Boston series I believe we get a couple games. He dont need help to get a shot up and that was our issue.towards the end of those games.
Ok, so why, if he is that good of a player, don't they allow him to be like a first or second option? I believe there is a way to incorporate Mathurin s skill level while still playing fast and unpredictable. Just give him more time to get the ball.
It was cool you taking my question. I really!! Want Ben to workout I just believe in him so much. But his fit with us is clunky he needs the ball in his hands. By that I mean IN! his hands alot he don't need a pass to get open.He is open if he has his dribble. I just really like Ben I'm worried we trade him and he becomes this kobe byrant type player. Let's just hope he fits in better this year!
since its q & a I've got one. how tradable is pascals new max deal? not the likelihood he gets traded just the difficulty a player with his contract could be moved.
If Mathurin surpasses Nesmith, I'd try to trade Nesmith into cap space or an exemption. Removing his salary for next season helps the Turner re-signing tax problem.
@@LockedOnPacers great question. Myles. Maybe Myles could be more of a defensive threat? Nesmith? I see the issue though. It's a really hard thing to actually acheive
This team still doesn't have an elite rebounder in the 10 man roster. That's all I cared about to start off season as glaring weakness, they just ignored it.
They way they've ran this team is a joke. They never focus the attention where it's truly needed the most. Instead of staying focused on what you need. An elite, real defensive minded SF and true big. They completely ignore it and have for year's. They have no clue how to draft, trade or sign FA's.. I've practically given up on this team. Hopefully Wiseman can find an I.Q for basketball with IN and Mathurin can breakout.. Even of they do they'll still be held back by the ignorant Pascal bs signing. Which will force them to lose the player he "want's to play with" so badly in Turner.. Because they're seriously going to need breakout young player's... Good luck to fan's once Turner leaves too.. Because Pascal's bum azz isn't stretching the floor, rebounding and playing lockdown D. But he will get paid like a "Superstar." Lol one that can't even draw a double. Lucky if he can score at the rim.

@@BillyOsborne-dy9eihe in theory should be our 1st option. Although not sure that'll actually happen.
Mathurin would be valuable for a trade if he doesn't fit well into the team plan..I still like him a lot though

Neismith needs to work on his shot.
This team has to be to let Mathurin have his time to get the ball. He is a great half court offensive player. You have to adjust to your talent...
Who are you taking the ball away from to do that?

Did they release Tsiebwe? I haven't watched the whole video yet
@@secularZooHe hasn't been released. He's up for a two way deal, could be an option for a roster spot

@warlockmagic3416 Dayum bro you stay going in on the Pacers. 😅
Teams 100 percent committed to winning have ownership that pays luxury tax, almost necessity, very small chance Simon will
You should be a GM.
That would be bad news for a team!
This team's future since trading Brown. 💩 I'd love to know their thought process. Once Turner leaves, this team will be absolute garbage. Smh
