    It completely changed my life, I lost a ton of weight reversed my PCOS and cystic acne with this way of eating and stopped binge eating. Pretty cool tbh

    Do your research on vitamin c , antioxidants , minerals , cholesterol. HDL and LDL .
    I’m a 52 year old personal trainer (carnivore 4 years ) 160 lbs - 7-8% bf .. I will never go back .

      I am always open to debate on this topic. What specific research are we talking about in the areas you mentioned as it related to carnivore diets? Would love to see some of the studies you may be referencing to

    We can definitely exchange resources to gain knowledge. I’ve listened to Robert lustig on metabolic health , dr Paul mason on low carb and fiber studies . Anthony Chaffee on human biology and digestive information, Zoe harcombe on metabolism , Georgia eades on plant toxins , just to name a few. I personally have put on 30 lbs of muscle in 4 years on carnivore ( started at age 48) completely drug and hormone free .. no trt .. my daily diet consists of beef, lamb , whole eggs and unflavored whey Isolate .. I train 7 days alternating hybrid athletic movement with strength and hypertrophy training.

      Always open to a conversation and debate about it. Many people have commented this has worked well with them and I fully support that. In fact I am doing a carnivore experiment soon but will do a Whole Foods diet prior to and compare results for the course of 3 months. I will be documenting the findings.
      The people you cited are questionable on some of the data they have shared sometimes misinterpreting research results in the process of presenting their findings

    love that I found this account at such small followers. Great advice on carnivore, most people see “fat loss” and don’t care about the risks behind it. These videos motivate myself to enhance my knowledge and confirm why I went the route of kinesiology/nutrition for college!

    Also , just do a bit of a dive on the atp production of ketone vs glucose , and the corresponding waste products of the energy consumption during glucose metabolism.. it’s crazily similar to the oxidative / corrosive processes of rust ( glycation).

      I am very well aware of the byproducts of both. I studied biochemistry as part of my schooling. They are two completely different energy production system. Ketone has a higher energy yield but is less efficient while glucose lower yet much more efficient. Oxidative Phosphorilation and the Kreb Cycle is not the same process as rust within a living organism so not comparable.

    Here is a controlled study -
    I have full bloodwork of my family and myself before and after the carnivore diet -
    Off all meds - blood sugar completely normal. All inflammation markers gone.
    No more sciatica or arthritis.
    We eat carrots, potatoes, nuts or fruits - candy or anything in and the same bad bloodwork and feeling comes back.
    My 60-70 year old family are better and stronger than they were in their 20s after 1 year of carnivore.
    So - the issues isn’t the carnivore life (it’s not a diet) - it’s the science and the brainwashing you know .
    Cholesterol is an essential nutrient.
    Small dense LDL cholesterol and high triglycerides are the only proven and actual cause of heart disease- and guess what raises that? Plants & carbs.
    How do you explain the fact that human species have been in existence for 300k years… on a 70-95% meat diet.
    It’s only in the last 10,000 year (5%) of our existence that farming sugars and carbs came into our diet.
    And remember- our digestive system is more similar to lion and dogs - carnivores than herbivores of omnivores.
    Gorillas have a foot long cecum for digesting plants.
    Our cecum is 1 cm and became a useless appendix

    I have no agenda . Personally just trying to voice my thoughts,personal experiences and shed light on the topic… personally whether anyone else practices carnivore makes no difference to me.. in fact the more people eat,unhealthy, American standard diet or vegetarian
    / vegan,the more the process of natural selection takes over

    Another excellent video 👍 I think the problem with a lot of diets is how they get bound up with people’s identity e.g. “I am keto / vegan/ carnivore” rather than “I am someone who follows a keto diet/ vegan / carnivore diet “. As a result, any critique of their eating style is seen as a personal attack.

    Carnivore is a fad diet because of shock value influencers. Carnivore is the original elimination diet and it’s essentially ultimate keto. Bodies don’t need carbs. My husband and I have been married for 15 years and he has struggled with his weight the entire time we’ve been married. He’s been on multiple diets (low carb, high fiber, etc) he was always struggling not to binge and was always hungry. He started carnivore last February and has lost almost 100 pounds. I’ve never seen him so happy. I should also add that he is a doctor so he’s had help from the medical field to make sure everything is on the up and up. The thing my husband likes the most about carnivore diet is for the most part you’re not being sold anything. It’s literally just about cutting out garbage anytime previously when he’s done a low-carb diet He’s still craved carbs. On carnivore he’s not hungry which is a sensation he hasn’t really felt since he was so young he basically can’t remember. Any diet can be a fad, that doesn’t mean it isn’t legitimate.

      Agree with your first statement about shock value influencers! And this has worked well for your husband that’s amazing. Just because I don’t recommend this for most people I clearly stated that if it works for you and makes you feel fresh and can and have sustained it continue on it 💪

    I’m doing this to keep blood sugar from forcing me to take medications or insulin. A bit of carbs makes me want a LOT of carbs and the meat based diet lets me be free of that plus lower blood sugar readings. None of your arguments will make me go back to my old way of eating: craving bad foods, high blood sugar numbers, hungry every waking minute and so on. Carnivore has helped all of that so I won’t be a subscriber because I don’t believe what you are saying.

      Not offended and I am super happy for you that you have found something that works for this. We have helped people accomplished exactly the same thing you are describing without having to go on a meat-only diet but I reiterated in the video... I am diet agnostic and if it works for you great!

I’m very sorry and I would love to be on a veggie based way of eating but my meter numbers get too high so through a lot of experimenting I am on the meat based and I don’t like it, it’s not my choice but at 75 I honestly don’t know what else to do.       I mean there is a lot and mostly from Chafee. It's what a lot of these people do. Example: in one of videos he cited a research paper from Israel claiming our ancestor ate exclusively meat (He even cites it in one of his youtube videos) yet when looking at the study in no way it was suggested that.

      Also, rather than listening to these doctors, or at least more than just listening to their online lectures that get posted on short form or long form video content, go to the actual data they cite and read the studies they are referencing. Read the procotols and you will then find discrepancies in what is presented. A lot of these people will share what support their views and will cancel out things that don't and that is my problem with what is being shared.

    What do you think of the biological similarities of homo sapien digestive tract to that of scavenger/ carnivore vs omnivores such as apes , gorillas & the obvious evolutionary improvements from eating mainly meat and fat ? Also the toxins in plants and homo sapien lack of ability to digest or ferment fiber.. just curious ?. I am a walking advertisement for carnivore. No gut issues , perfect ct scan , insulin and glucose are super low.. high cholesterol but no blockages or adverse impact on health ..
    humans have become fatter , sicker and diabetes is rampent since advent of “ food pyramid “ type eating scales .. ??? Your thoughts ??

      Do you really think we are fatter and sicker exclusively due to eating habits, specifically also eating vegetables and fruit?
      You cannot blame a single factor (Food) as the culprit of the health issues in the U.S. We have become a sedentary society, overly stressed, crhonically sleep deprived (which affects long term health) and yes with terrible eating habits. But America is not unhealth because we are eating too many vegetables or whole grains.
      You can't also extrapolate what works for YOU as what will work for everyone. I can also say that I have no gut issues, insulin and glucose also super low, cholesterol amazing, I can deadlift 500 lbs, and squat 2.5 times my body weight eating meat, fruits vegetables AND some processed foods but I don't go around pushing my own health agenda based on what works for me to others. This I have a problem with.

    Yes - if my entire body and bloodwork and energy completely returned and my entire family are off meds - yes - I’m feeding my child and so should you, the proper human diet .
    Carnivore diet was our existence for 300k years

    The enemy is definitely processed foods. Whole foods win-either all plants or all animals. Best of both worlds is to eat healthy carbs and lean protein-subtract the Doritos, cakes and fast food. Drink water, black coffee or unsweetened tea.
    Simple.

      Did you read every single of the studies cited in that video to understand the claims described? He literally quoted the same article from Israel I told you about that misinterpreted what the actual study said… again I prefer if you send me studies and your interpretation of them rather than TH-cam videos that for all I care could just be cherry picking data and information to prove a bias. Just like you will only select videos that does yours. Not attacking you brother but trying to get you to see that you can’t push your agenda just because carnivore diets have helped you tremendously. You will continue to find evidence to prove you right and if it’s compelling enough and you can show it to me could really do that

    Btw your body is not a bomb calorimeter, calories are a unit of measure, not how the body process food..
    12 oz of twinkies will not have the same impact as 12 oz ribeye .. brother. 🤔

      Well welcoming the first comment of a cultist ;) Hi I am the flat earther who created the video. We will revisit this comment in a couple of years and see if it "aged" well. THe reality is that I will not address your claims because it will be a major waste of my time because nothing I will ever say will put you in a place of dialogue but rather attack (which is what most cultists do).
