true. even though i love the mainline games, the gacha version sucks so bad and nothing but a money-grabber. i returned after 2 years of not playing but when they announced fallen edelgard and i saw her kit, i uninstalled the minute after. it's so stupid and cancer. they should learn from PM as a "balanced" gacha game.

Is it weird that I unintentionally created an AR-O team that can hard counter this?
FEH year 1: This character's special weapon gives them +3 speed. Look out for Quick Repost! :)
FEH year 4: If you hold your system upside down, you get +9 SPD/DEF unless it's a Tuesday in which case it gives +11 ATK/MAG. If you're adjacent to 2 party members, but 2 tiles away from a 3rd party member and in the same column as an enemy, you can counter from any distance but also take 3 less damage and followup attack immediately.
I'd love to continue this joke, but I feel like this is less absurd than what's actually in the game.

Then, a seasonal 5 mvmt Cavalry Edelgard with NFU, Nul guard, guard, initiation sweep, max HP based Sol, Lull, Reginn level Canto, solo (all stats), unity... and the mandatory Raging Storm appears after a few months.
The only possible way she doesn't get powercrept is if the game ends within the next year.

The powercreep is in full force now, but they've been steadily and consistently releasing units that have reliable ways to counter her since... like 2 or 3 banners after hers.

@@HackersSun Yeah as someone became too used to use Reginn I'm not that much of a fan of using the new more restrictive canto skills... But I like the debuff part.
I legit haven't played since finishing S3 of the story, and that was when S4 had just dropped.

@@brunkosproogle5046 thanks man, i love making 4*+10 because they just seem unique and cheaper on the feather cost. But still could be as effective as a 5*+10 unit. (Considering 4*+10 is 5*+5 anyway.)

Her art is so badass, but the unit is too good. The only time I've faced it was in the lunatic version of the story chapters, and I couldn't beat it without several units going down, so I can't imagine what that would be like to battle from someone who spent a bunch of money to +10 her.
Spoiler Alert: Attacking into 50 visible def/res + 40% damage reduction and an instant 30+ damage bonfire is not fun at all.
The thing I could think of is a unit like F!Dimitri or Duo Byleth or ironically L!Edelgard
@@derpygamer0279 my +5 legendary Edelgard dies from the bonfire, so unless they replaced her ult with galeforce she can't win when initiating or I need to start running Atk def solo 4 on her. Letting F Edelgard initiate isn't a much better idea ofc. My solution was F Byleth with spurn ruptured sky.
That would work or someone like Christmas Sothis that already has special fighter though she wouldn't be able to tank hits
Thats the thing with this unit, trying to solve one problem just gives more leverage to another of F!Edelgard's abilities

Ahhh lets not forget :
- She can sweep thru the single player content material by her self and gives you free orbs
- She can solo the entire Chain Challenge by her self when you require 2 or 3 parties , she solos them and you also get free orbs
- She can solo legendary hero battles (that were design for you to have a BALANCE TEAM OF 4)
- She can solo tempest trials on the highest difficulty on AUTO
- She forces you to pull other heroes just TO "SOFT" COUNTER HER ON PvP
- Lastly , she does not need much investment , she pretty much comes set !
If people are using her for their defense, does that mean she's an... Edelguard?

Ladies, Gentlemen, Enbies, I present to you all: the true facts behind why I haven't played Heroes in years and haven't regretted it for a second.
My maxed out Frederick that's mopped up just about every other armored threat in the game can only put a dent in Fallen Edelgard and still needs help from a magic ally to finish her off.
