Aptera is also getting the larger cells for the 600 and 1000 mile batteries. Chris mentioned at CES that they received some of the larger cells and will be validating them. Being available in 2026.
I hope this event gets them the funding they need. Even though I can no longer afford the Aptera I would love for them to succeed. The removal of the AWD (3WD) had me reeling. The price hike to $40,000 was the knockout blow I can't recover from. Maybe a used model in the future? I don't know.
Aptera always gets attention because if it’s uniqueness, but the only way to gauge success, at this point, is if they’ve secured a significant investor to move production forward.
To the best of my understanding, LG's 'splody cells were all pouch cells. Aptera uses cylindrical cells. Hopefully it all goes well. LG didn't exactly stand up when Bolts started to burn.
Most investors are not sure this car will be delivered. It currently doesn't have ABS brakes and wont by delivery. I saw the car there. Not sure if it will make it.
Investors are very rarely "sure" about their investments. It's a risk/reward calculation. Aptera is absolutely high risk, as were many of the start ups at CES. Come back to us in six months about those ABS brakes.
Increasing my investment in Aptera!! They did what they said they would do!!
Just need some deep pockets to get the ball rolling

If Aptera could get the parts, I bet volunteers would assemble their first few thousand vehicles for free.
I would go there to assemble mine!

I hear that 32k would be better really wanted a 25k one.
It was very popular at the show, and not just investors.
That's great that both CNET and USA Today put aptera on their top lists
Well done. ❤❤❤❤ 🇺🇸 ⚡️ 🌞
I really appreciate that you went back to your original theme song, I always love dancing to it as the video starts.😅
Great recognition and exposure for Aptera, may it bring large investors!!
Waiting for opportunity to by one

I know that LG had some problems with the batteries a little while ago. I assumed they'd gotten through that.

@@robertkirchner7981 I am rooting for the car. Good luck
Did you talk to "most investors"? I'm an investor, and I'm more certain than ever that Aptera will reach production.
Has there been an increase in investing?

After my order back 3 years…still no Aptera wheels or gears!
