Not at all alan walker is mostly 4/4 beats with heavy sidecbain pumping and super digital chords and leads whereas this one sounds more chainsmokers as it has lot of organic elements like vocal chops which alan walker never does
The background music you created for the song was epic. And about the actual melody, I would say that the original was better. May be you should blend the two together, that is, Selena's melody and your music.
I agree! I'm working on an arrangement that is actually a mix of the two, I matched the tempos and I'm working on producing it. It's taking time to put together all the vocals and instruments, but they sound awesome together!
