Those birds are cute as hell!! Make 1 big one about 4 inches tall, and 2 little ones about 2 inches tall, have them together on a shelf as a Mommy and two Babies!! My wife, daughter, and grand daughter will love them!! Could buy some plastic feathers to stick out the back as a tail!

It's a cute little winter bird fluffing up its feathers to stay warm! A group of them sitting on a branch in a snow scene would be perfect for Christmas. 🎄 It's amazing how simple shapes can come alive with eyes and a beak. Thank you for this wonderful turning idea! 😊

The spanner trick is really useful...
just be careful.. light cuts and don't get the head jammed between the toolrest and the wood...

Adorable! I love when you make these little fellows. Definitely going to use up my small leftover scrap pieces of wood to make several of these. I just made a Ring Box that I watched you make on one of your previous videos. That was a really Fun project. Thank you… I always enjoy watching and learning from you. 20K is just around the bend. 😊

Great job Andy! It reminds me of the little birdy salt and pepper shakers my mom had when I was a kid. Wouldnt be that tough to make them into shakers, I suppose!😎❤👍

I just hope it turns out better than the other little guy I did,he ended up hiding behind the photo frame too ashamed to show himself after the not so nice comments made by my wife.

Hi Andy! Lovely little bird, non-gender as well I suppose 😉😂 This endless gender discussion seems to have reached even the wood-turning community… Oak is great wood… Could the beak be padouk?
