Well, this video was right after he got his teeth fixed so he was still getting use to a different sound and feel once they fixed that tooth that he had knocked out awhile ago!! He would do things to the camera because he was kind of insecure about his teeth!!?!@
I listen to music pretty much all day, and i can't name a singer with similar sounding vocals to any degree! I can't even pick a singer that i think sounds faintly like him truly one of those once in a lifetime voices! I wished he would have been alive today imagine the crazy shit that ACDC would have been putting out with some of the slickest sexual innuendos that I've ever heard stuck in a song! Not to mention, the sexual escapades that he would have continued to pleasure himself would be surreal probably at this point! Lemmy Kilmister said he was something else in an interview i had watched with Scott Ian and a couple of other big names made jokes about the sexual adventurers, is what i believed they called it in the interview and Lemmy "said who better to teach them?" He would definitely show them right! The question was referring to him asking about all the ladies that Bon had been with being daughters, virgins, and basically every type woman there is! To see Lemmy laugh and say that was priceless!! The way Lemmy talked was that women would line up outside his bus/ room door for turns with Bon!!
sd rebel32 I don't think I would say that because pretty much all sexual innuendos were ones that Bon tried, and well A lot of the time they would just get captured in his energy and everything to do with his stories which where actually put in a lot of their songs!! Most of the legendary parts, were actually written about Bon's experiences! So in a way, he did write a lot of the songs! They first done it a couple of times without letting Bon know and he was like, "no they wouldn't write about me, I'm just get the big head" type things for the longest until he found out they were related to his stories, etc.!! Bon said you made me sound like a bad bloke!
People always mention how a band/musician is underrated, but this is one situation were the word underrated is putting it lightly that no one has ever really realized!! BON SCOTT IS THE ONLY ONE OF A KIND SINGER TO HIT THE BIG TIME, LITERALLY! I LISTEN TO MUSIC ALL DAY FOR THE MOST PART, AND NOT A ONE SOUNDS ANYTHING LIKE BON! To me, a voice that unique is golden because it really makes it a hidden gem! If you like it is!

I grow up listening to acdc with my uncle concreting, he had the bonfire box set I think it was called, bad boy boogie, problem child, the jack, Rosie, sin city, live wire I feel like everyone needs to hear these songs off of those albums, all great songs but like you said they really hit their stride in 78.
My favourite band of all time is Metallica, growing up I wasn't overly happy sitting in that ute driving for hours after hard work when all you want to do is sit on a couch for an hour, looking back I wouldn't trade those days for anything.
Ride on is probably my favourite song of theirs and I listen to them every single day! Drives my wife crazy lol

Peak??! I don't know about that because Bon is one of those that just has it, so to say peak would mean he would have a short stretch where he done killed it compared to the usual! Bon is consistently right there every time whether he just polished off a 1/5 or is just wanting to rock his ass off kind of mood there isn't really a slip, and on top of it still manages to suck you into his bigger than life size persona!! He is a one of a kind natural talent who didn't even warm up before doing his shows!!

I was also in high school 10th grade. Was really bummed out about his passing when they were just about to really blow up!!! Thought that’s it for the band. There was no front man like Bon! He was a rock-n-roll star. But the band did make come back. It worked with Brain he had a similar sound/voice but was his own man. And his own style. And the music they kept enough of their sound that you knew it was AC/DC. But it was different I’d would say a little more commercialized but still great. But it just didn’t have quite the same raw edginess with that slight blues touch to it. And the style of their lyrics changed and their/the subject matter. And of course it did because it was missing Bons creative influence/personality in them. There is but a very few bands that have been that successful with two different frontmen/lead singers! The only other band that I can think of to be able to do that was Van Halen.

So true - for sure others were great too, but nobody was as good as AC/DC. So tight, so perfect live... no other band can hold their water, esp. for such a long time (okay, the grandpas Rolling Stones are even way older and play longer, but they never were as good as AC/DC were on stage.
That was because Bon, later Brian had such presence on the stage. For me, Bon is the second most impressing front man on this planet, only a certain guy from Sanzibar is even greater.
With Ronnie van Z. a very great third, but this was a complete different guy, basically the Steve McQueen of the rock music. Nobody was cooler :D

Highway To Hell set the stage for not only the greatest AC/DC Album ever, Back In Black, but the greatest heavy metal album ever and one of the best selling albums ever. Back in Black might be the second greatest selling album ever. If not, in the top five. Highway To Hell is the second best AC/DC Album of them all and very underrated. This is truly an awesome album.
I can only assume you've never listened to Powerage because as good as those 2 albums are it blows them out the fucking water

This is by far my favorite Scott song. The lyrics are aggressive, the high pitched voice rocks and the rhythm sounds epic with the timing of the notes when they switch cords. No wonder Brian Johnson said no to singing most of bon scoote acdc songs. Brian knows what bon sang he sings better then Brian, but what Brian sings in this band is as epic as bon Scott but different sounding.

Duct taped a big-ass cassette player to my bmx bike with a fresh set of D batteries. Off I went into the night with the wind in my hair, music blasting, dogs barking and neighborhood house lights turning on. For the next 3-4 hours felt like I was on top of the world. 🌑 🕛🚴♂🤘
