- Welcome to today's woodturning project! This time I made another beautiful bowl combining a maple log and some resin, that I colored brown-ish, which gave the project a coffee-like look. The bowl was finished with danish oil.
Hope you enjoy the video!

Stunning bowl; great workmanship! And THANK YOU for not making [still] another BORING BLACK resin item!! 👍😀👍
Gorgeous. Absolutely love the markings in the wood. ❤❤❤❤❤
When hollowing end grain, if you go from the center out instead of the rim to center, it'll cut cleaner and with less tear out. It's the opposite of cutting the inside of a cross-grain bowl.
Cool piece!
Good thing you were able to find a bucket that happened to fit perfectly to the diameter of your wood 👍
This turned out to be absolutely beautiful! Great job!!!
it looks amazing, that copperish resin looks so good
That looks amazing! The colours look great 😁👌💙
OMG!! That is absolutely gorgeous. ❤
Nice looking piece. Great choice in colors.
Watching these videos online are always so decieving, so hard to judge space and volume. I always think the amount of epoxy will never be enough. Nice work.
Very creative, love the way you work
I like the choice of resin color. Something closer to natural instead of some obnoxious shade. 😊
Agreed, that's a gorgeous brown.
.....almost like real wood. Really nice
Superb end result. The colours work perfectly together.
Wonderful !!!
very good video, thank you
Awesome ☆☆☆☆☆5
Love it!
Lovely!
Super :)
Did you put hypershift in the resin to get the contrasting colours? Very good work. 👍
Are you certain this is maple? The bark and less prominent grain look exactly like American Holly, and the subtle, gray fungal stain at 6:35 is an almost certain indicator too. Holly is difficult to find in good, clean pieces of this size and can be as much as 5x as expensive. If you didn't see the tree it came from, might be worth confirming what it is if you're planning to put this up for sale, you can probably set a much higher price.
What brand of resin do you use? It looks like it doesn't require mixing. Am I correct on that?
