Masterclass by the Mountain Goat in going downhill fast. But the commentary and the camera work was like viewing and listening to lawn bowls. BRING BACK WARNER
Yes lets go back to Redbull where they didnt show the rider until they entered the woods...make comments about the commentary all you want but it is objectively false to say the camera work is worse than before.
Pleeease bring back Rob Warner. Even my Girlfriend yesterday admitted that boring Broadcast and said, she wants that cool Guy from 2 years ago back.

Such good riding ruined by these shots from high in the air, where you could not see a thing of the rider, his line or anything else. Just searching for a moving object is embarrassing..

Jut to balance out the feedback about the commentary, Saturday wasn't great partly due to the weather but this was my favourite coverage ever of a downhill race finals. Last year seemed like they were trying to replicate downhill skiing camerawork a bit too much. This feels like a step up!

Gwin would be great for pre or after race analysis, but during it his monotone voice sucks out all the energy from the commentary. Other than that I think the broadcast is now better than during the Red Bull years. Just fix the graphics, green for fastest racer and time, red for the slower one.

I mean great coverage, dont get me wrong gwin and rick your comments are good, but pls for god sake, use more enthusiasm, scream or at least pretend to be on your toes when riders are in green or something crazy happened, you guys sound like 2bikers chatting about sunday road ride(no offense)..just put more energy and try to get the viewers more hyped up🙌

This guy was amazing today as were all the riders across the different categories. Great to watch this race at Fort William. The highlight for me was a rider (I think Rees Wilson) riding the lower part of the track yesterday with no rear tyre. Hitting a berm and jumping a distance of well over 12m on a metal rim. Insane.
I think Ric is trying, Gwin just sounds bored.
I don't want want them to pretend to be excited, but at the very least they should be watching the race and commenting on it, especially when it's the race winning rub - they barely, if at all, talked about what Loic was doing on track, you could see how much speed he was carrying, but the commentator was just blabbing away about whatever. No hate to Gwin, he's great, as a sidekick to Rob (or another charismatic commentator, he would be awesome (I'd rather he was racing though)
