Grab one off Amazon, they have a much better selection than Walmart. Look for something with temp control and 40-60 watts. I use a Yihua 926 III soldering station, and I love it. Messed around with cheap, weak little irons for years, when I should’ve just saved myself the trouble and spent a few more bucks from the start.

You could try adding flux to the paste to rehydrate it. It may not return to its original viscosity range, so there's a chance it won't perform the same.
