Currently, my most intrigued build of anything on TH-cam. Especially after your existing epic RS4 twin turbo build, that only shows that epic van finished. Wish you guys all the best for TH-cam 👌🏽
What happens when old school has gone and there's no one doing this kind of work, it's a true art you both have, modern day thinking with the old school of working it out, takes special people with old school thinking to do this kind of work, rather than stick it into a computer and let a machine make the part for you, your the Yorkshire version of the Smallest Cog - (Neil and Anthony) just without a multi millionaire behind you, unfortunately - (wish I could help, but I'm a Yorkshire man myself, so tight as hell, sorry) keep it going boys, 10K on the horizon, should be more like 100,000K - (just a small note to us 7K+ subscriber's spread the work, let make this work) keep going and thanks.... till next week, stay safe and well.... cheers
Hi guys , great to see you doing another T5RS , just asking if you considered doing the B 8.5 engine or is it more complicated then a B7 . thanks & fantastic work
Luv your work Please could you talk about the engineering modification legality getting it roadworthy how that works in UK many other channels doing similar things talk not at all or very little about the most important thing if it is to hit the road proper JA
Theres two typical routes, if the chassis has not been modified you can declare a new engine on a current vehicle. If the chassis has been modified it will need to go for an IVA test (5 hour extreme mot) where everything is checked over. The new vehicle then gets a new registraion. If add parts to an existing vehicles you can normally keep the same year registration although it will be a different reg because its changed from stock. If you use a mish mash of parts from more than one vehicle you get a Q plate (where the reg plate can never be changed for a private plate, it's like a fingerprint for weird builds) If you want to do something similar the easiest way is to build it, document it with a build log pdf, apply for IVA, get a Q plate. Q plates are the easiest to get. Aslong as it passes IVA then your safe to register the vehicle. You then pay DVLA for registration, and then you must insure and MOT the vehicle. See more info on the gov website: gov vehicle-registration/kitconverted-vehicles The IVA test has a 300+ page manual called the M1 approval. You can download it from the gov website. Its all specific things like headlight height, rounded bodywork, wiring, vin plates ect Also search on TH-cam for a video called kit car IVA by mk sportscars, that gives you an idea of what they typically check 👍 I am building my dream V12 supercar on my channel 😎
To summarise: -Build & Document it -apply for IVA test -apply for registration with DVLA -insure it -mot it Theres 3 types of plate: new plate (normally for new kit cars) where everything is new except 1 reconditioned part (typically the engine). Receipts for everything needed. Age related plate, where you have added a kit of parts to an existing vehicle or old parts to a new chassis but still have only 1 donor car. (Receipts for any new parts needed) Q plate, anything goes 😆. Multiple donors allowed, no receipts needed. Definitely the cheepest and route. This is how people register their garden shed as a car 😂 My first build is going to be an age related plate (this more expensive than Q plate because only 1 donor vehicle allowed) Good luck 😎👍

Unfortunately it’s too big and would need a lot of modifications to the firewall
Great build lads. Any chance you could say 'let flavour flood out' during your next video 😁
Come on then tell me the story behind it?

Can I place an order????
Engaging to help the algorithm :). Could this be done with the 3 litre bitdi or is the RS4 engine particularly compact?
Not sure to be honest don’t know the sizes
Are u going turbo charge it .... full build it lol
Most likely valve stem steals need replacing 😎👍
The top plate for the cross member refusing to stay put when trying to weld it in was too relateable.
What camera do you guys use? 🤔
iPhone 15
