I thought watching the grinder spinning a quarter inch from that immaculate paint was stressful, until i saw how much pressure was needed to put in the chrome trim. Well done.
I just finished watching all of the 300SL conversion videos. Awesome job!! Keep up the great work. Are you thinking of refabricating and selling a 300 SL Kit? Or if you could point me towards the right directions. Thank you
Geez you have patience. how will get the rubber to sit 'down' top right glass corner? seems like the rubber is creased up.. All the other corners sat down when you pressed in the trim insert.

No we’re not going to be producing the kit, the mold was destroyed
Smashing.
Was KY jelly recommended to help get that chrome trim in?🤔
😂

Why did you not bond the glass like you did on the side windows? Same look just not as stressful?
Thought we’d try it with new rubbers and if we would have bonded it we still would have to use the same old rubber and chrome trim
Sorry I'm a little late but I was wondering if you knew or had the details of anyone else who sells the fiberglass bodies or can be paid to make one?
No sorry
@@andirt4 All good, thank you!
