I can confirm this! I just about shat when he mentioned rubbing when turning right because I thought I was the only one. I have the 2023 ZR2 and it rubbed from factory bought it with 200 miles on the odometer, took it in and although its 33in vs the bison 35in tires the right side was rubbing on the brake line! they had to order and replace the whole right side brake line! unbelievable. but all is good now and I am loving my truck. No regrets- No more rubbing - also only ever rubbed when fully tilted clockwise.

Man. Traditional OEMs are really stepping up the game here!
Both the new Colorado and the Tacoma are really really good offerings. So hard to choooosee! Uggh! I really wish we had those seats with embedded shocks from the Tacoma in the Colorado! That’d just seal the Colorado for me.. looks on the Colorado are just drool level

Well, my Jeep Gladiator (Rubicon) has a natural 6...and that's one reason I like it. Nothing turbo, 4cyl or V8 for me -- a N-A 6cyl is fine.
It seems Chevy really improved the Colorado ZR2 starting with the 2023 model...makes it way more competitive to the top-model Gladiators.

The low end punch of a turbo is fun to drive but I'll take a NA V6 myself also.
      I have a 16 Canyon 3.6 6 speed.
Fantastic butter smooth power train and better mpg than they are advertising now.

@@thomaslehmann5981 Well, my V6 Pentastar (Generation 3) and 8-speed transmission (850RE) isn't quite "butter smooth" as your Canyon but like you I'll take it anyway over a 4cyl/6cyl turbo. Well, I kind of HAVE to as I signed the sales contract and the Jeep dealer (in Castle Rock, CO) wouldn't take it back! ;-)
Just kidding...because I DO like my Gladiator, and it's STILL fun to drive going on 3 years now (and 4 long 3-state road-trips) whenever I need to go out somewhere for some reason. Or, for absolutely no reason at all. ;-)

As an owner of a 23 Canyon AT4 with 295/70r17’s with 2”Front- 1”Rear lift, those 295/70’s (33.3”) tires are the biggest I felt comfortable going without a full suspension upgrade. No rub at full lock in the front but really close when fully stuffed off-road in the rear. Still extremely happy with the truck, and love seeing these upgrades in the midsize segment.

Only the Canyon/Colorado get rear vents for passengers. Only the Tacoma and Canyon can equip a moonroof in their top trims (Colorado ZR2 Bison AEV can't have one, and none of the Ranger trims come with a moonroof). On their configurators in top trim, the Ranger Raptor seems like the value option somehow at ~$60k. The Chevy was ~$63k, and the GMC at a whopping ~$73k. No clue on Toyotas pricing as the top trims aren't live on their site yet.
Offroad I'm sure all of them will be super impressive.

You forget that the shocks on the seats were tested extensively on Baja racing trucks first. 2 different models. It's not a gimmick. It's also weight-based, so more precise than any bump stops are going to be. Meanwhile, on the TRD Pro, you get 3-way adjustible Fox racing shocks, which are tried and true. On the Trailhunter, you get even better OME shocks which can take much more weight reliably.

So you got rid of the v6 option for gas mileage and emissions.
You presented us a 4 cyl turbo that gets the same 16mpg my v8 gets…
For that reason I’m out. The Tacoma hybrid is offering 24/27mpg. You’re not even competing at this point.

I'll keep my v-6 Frontier pro 4 x. Turbo charged 4 cylinder engine will not make it to 500,000 miles like my V6 3.8 liter 310 HP frontier. I gave 32,000 dollars for my truck but some guys love to brag about how much money they have. Just because you have money doesn't mean you have to donate it to car manufacturers.

Pretty Nice. However, if Jeep would just put the new SST hurricane engine in the Gladiator it would be class leading. It is like Jeep are intentionally sandbagging the Gladiator and killing it. It is the best midsize off-road centered pickup in every way except it's powertrain. The old pentastar v6 is just underpowered and uninspiring in that heavy of a vehicle.

Yeah, it’s a beautiful truck, but with all that prettiness, it seems like all the functionality without by the wayside but that’s just my opinion

I went looking for a 4x4 truck in 2020..I looked at the colorado and the Tacoma. I didn't want a full size truck..The tacoma at the time, had a plastic bed..rear drum brakes.. and instead of a locking differential, it had a computerized braking that applied the brakes to which ever wheel was spinning.. Kinda defeats the momentum you need to get you up a hill or out of a mudhole...Plus the taco was about $6k more expensive. So I bought a new 2020 Colorado WT. (V6).$31k OTD 30k miles on it now... It had to have the trans flush at 6k miles.. So far (knock on wood) it's doing ok..

No, its NOT better. But it IS cheaper. And when you consider that, its a better DEAL, not a better TRUCK. But 65k for a pro is just insane, toyota has lost their fucking mind. And thats comming from the owner of a 19 trd pro.

You said they Bison is the only one coming on 35's from the factory. The raptor has nearly 100 more horse power. I'll take 33's and 100 more horse power from the factory.

If I had the money I'd buy the gen 2 version of this. They need to get rid of the leaf springs, have a rear mounted tire like on the jeep with a swing mount, upgrade their cameras, include a winch, work on the tire rubbing, higher HP, update the electronics.
