Damn what are they feeding this guy. He works 10hrs, closes his eyes and is called out for a night job then makes it back to the yard at 6am to do it all over again. Good quality cameras make a big difference as the night shots show very well.
"Morning Director nice of you to make it" haha good craic .... Thanks to all involved putting the time in to make and share the all round excellent videos.
Avoidable damage done to the screen no excuse for the lack of maintenance on the bearings couple of minutes to grease around in a morning. Amazing content as always and what a treat for 'The Director'. As always Baz crack on lad to the next chapter/edition
Just great content as always, Baz gets to to play with all the toys and get paid to do it. Pay attention boys and girls learn to fix problems and you will never look for work again! Director is doing a fantastic job! Can't wait for the next one. Cheers boys!
Nice to see the most important member of the team gets a nice Toyota Hilux to drive around in 😎, loved driving mine, nice bit of kit. Think you know my thoughts on the crusher by now, crazy amount of damage done, most all avoidable. Thanks for sharing guys, have a great weekend.
Hi baz , I can’t believe anyone would damage the crusher to so much extent and keep running it knowing there where causing so much damage , have some respect for someone else’s machine , great work baz 👍
Great video again Baz and Director, can’t believe the amount of damage to the crusher absolutely criminal when I had my own grab lorry I’d of gave my right arm for a crusher like that, great work getting it back together 💪👌
Great content as usual Baz damage to that machine was unbelievable, everywhere you looked, I felt sorry you got called out. Thought the Director would of told you to get your PAPR on for standing grinding and welding inside that bucket.
Hi Baz and director. That crusher really had a hiding. As many have mentioned, an experienced hired in operator would of been a good choice. These repair and rental costs for downtime could break the company who rented it? Congrats on the wheels director, sweet. Great content as usual. 🏴🇺🇸
Good things come to those who wait. And as always great content delivered to a wanton audience. Shocking all that damage to that crusher baz. Someone needs firing for all that. Good on you and your team for showing it how it is pal. Looking forward to tomorrows episode 😊
See Lads with aircraft hangers where nothing gets done Baz - you've the same as us, tiny workshop where every foot of floor space has to pay. Big workshop, no go, small workshop, all go. Punching above weight.
Excellent video Baz/Director. Maybe someone somewhere will get the hands in their pocket for some training in using plant, got to be better value than paying the repair bill. Good to see the Director now has wheels. Looking forward to tomorrow's instalment.
I can't believe the damage that was done to that crusher it was never ending I wouldn't of liked to get hit with that repair bill hopefully they start treating other people's equipment with more respect. Well lads once again another quality video I can't wait for tomorrow. Yous are smashing this TH-cam game!!!!
Boom what a video the shots with the drone and when baz was weiding at the rail yard also the music the best video in my opinion can't wait till Sunday episode 👌👊👍
Once again amazed at the work you and the boys do. The size and scope of the projects you tackle is fantastic. Please keep up the good work. As always my Saturday mornings here in Florida always start with welder fabber
Its always the same just when you think that you're about to start getting a head with the buckets something comes along, great video director with top-notch content Baz .
It’s an absolute credit to ye to what ye have done all that work not one of complaining about it ye just get on with it, top class work with top class workers, top class leaders in the game
Cheers Baz and Director. Fell on your feet with that main Conveyor for the J45. I remember doing the same repair on the main Conveyor on a Robotrac that had been hit by the Ostrich at the Steelworks, surprisingly the Conveyor sections weren’t a bad price. Changing the Cone and Mantle isn’t a bad job to do although if you’re pulling the Shaft out it is a big job. Pegson Automax the last one I did. All the best B&D.
Great video! I’m jealous, the Director’s ride sounds much better than Baz’s ! Good score on the conveyor frame, that will save some time. Y’all Be Safe!
Bet the cost of hiring an operator with the crusher doesn't seem expensive now. Nice to see Lukes stands getting used though. Congrats on the new wheels Director, another great chronicle from you and Baz. Keep em coming boys 💪
Fantastic content Baz and love the directors new truck there is no excuse for the extensive abuse on the crusher, some people are just animals stay safe regards-Paul P
Videos get better every week baz learning so many little tips and tricks. Would u consider a video on setting up arc and mig welders settings ect .keep up the Videos guys
Being a plant hire owner must be frustrating how they switch off from the abuse of kit I don’t know. I can’t and I don’t even own them. Ps thanks for another episode I’ve looked forward to this repair.
Blumin heck baz I’ve bin construction most of my life. I have never seen such incompetence of a hirer with a peace of kit like that. You run around like a blue arse fly ( lol) I love ya stuff that u & dicrector do . Keep safe reagards Les from North Wales 🏴
How the heck could somebody do so much damage to a machine is beyond thinking the mind just boggles but fair play to ya baz for keeping a cool head . Rock on lad
Great work. Looks like it’s been driven into something? There’s a good opportunity to weld in some lifting eyes whilst the conveyor is off for potential future removal. Great content as always and some good working practices. Hats off to you all.
A bit sad to see how much abuse that crusher has been subjected to. That was never fair wear and tear. You need the people responsible to be renting kit from your competitors. As ever, the Fox team gets it sorted. Let's hope these videos help get a message out and make people think about the implications for companies like Fox Group. Maybe you need some technology to alert you in these situations. Either way, I had never heard of this company until a few weeks back. Thanks to you I now feel I know it and respect the people making it all happen. Thank you Baz & Co for this one.
Buddy just awsome I love the size and scale of what you guys build it's fantastic work .if our buisness ever becomes big enough with enough cash flow I know what firm I would have to build a specialist wrecker for us. All the best Mark and Emily at Rooster Recovery
Good morning . I saw that you use an open return roller. We have replaced all crushers with a closed roller. goes a lot better, the only thing is. that you should keep a closer eye on the band. because it happens faster. from left to right. good luck
Another great video Baz/Director 👍 seems to be a standard link between viewers to likes running at at 10% deficit on most videos. Can’t understand why the other upto 90% don’t just press the like button. 🤔 it’s the same on most channels.
Wow.....how can people be so lazy and not maintain such an expensive piece of kit or run it correctly..I don't think I'd like the invoice for the repair !! 😮 A great vlog as per Baz.....and a lovely new motor for the director too!! That wheel wash looks one helluva beast to bring back to life..looks like what you see in the Yukon in an iron mining grave yard. You can't beat watching people work that really know what they're doing. Entertainment and educational at the same time ! Be happy, be SAFE 🙏, Gary
Watching from start heavy plant fitting at its finest ... GET THE FOX on more he a very interesting man how hs2 going affect the business keep up good work 👌👌👌👈👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👈
Great stuff Baz. Incredible amount of damage to that crusher. Used conveyor definately the way to go, but would it be worth sending the old one to a commercial vehicle chassis aligner to be straightened as a spare?
A tube over the welds on the pipe on the bucket would be much harder to remove in the future if needed. Would 4 or 6 long straight bars welded over be strong enough and also easier to remove if needed in the future. Also the more of your videos I watch the more I think your boss must be an amazing person especially how he has got behind you and the director with this channel.
Great vid as usual . Just wondering whether it would be a worthwhile investment to put a Oilquick oqc coupler on the end of the sennebogen material handler and have a spare bucket to avoid downtime and nighttime call outs .
Top quality video again Baz and director. Just a quick question do you use solid wire or flux core. If you don’t use flux core would you ever consider using it. Thanks for the videos really help me with a few tricks
What an episode! Plenty going on there lad. Would I be right to say that you used 7016 welding rods to repair the clam shell bucket? Personally, I prefer 7018 welding rods. Anyway, a great installment to watch and I look forward to the next one tomorrow!
Hi Baz a great video what a mess that crusher was in that’s some bill they are going to end up with just amazes my have people have not respect for stuff hired stuff should get more respect as you know if u break it you’ll be paying for it
Another great chronicle, Baz. With all the welding your shop does, do you provision wire by the ton? lol In a week, how much welding wire do you use? Thanks for sharing.
Well Baz & Director what’s the craic? Great video obviously who ever had the crusher on hire must have been operating it with the “it’s a rental don’t be gentle” attitude, brutal abuse on a machine. Directors new motor is nice…next he will have a chopper like Foxies!! Ya need a T shirt with “I’m back i’nt yard”….🤣
If it’s one of your own machines don’t you have a drawing of it when it was first manufactured and of any modification done to it Thus making the manufacture of a new frame a lot easier
Bit of a result finding that conveyor frame - I still wouldn't want the bill! Goes to show that there are still muppets out on site - exact opposite of your operator on the camshell - he managed to lay it down and pick it up without any sliding - no more than he should be able to do but sadly worth mentioning when I see it done well - don't have to look inside those rail waggons for damage either cos' I know there won't be any. Great job for all concerned, Good ariel shots in the dark from The Director too.
Hello from Canada! Always astounds me how rental units are abused by "customers" and then totally surprised that you hold them acountable! I'm guessing that that machine is well over 2-4 hundred thou pounds. What is your guess approx that this repair will cost compared to purchase price? Very curious, Bob. Is there such a thing as black balling a client? after seeing this vid, I know I would NOT rent them even a wheelbarrow!
I’d guess that someone has tried to lift the front end of the crusher using an excavator under the conveyor looking at how some of the supports are bent up.
I like the fact that you speed up the video to show what is involved in striping down plant, instead of just clipping to the end 👍
Damn what are they feeding this guy. He works 10hrs, closes his eyes and is called out for a night job then makes it back to the yard at 6am to do it all over again. Good quality cameras make a big difference as the night shots show very well.
What the Fox Group is involved in is staggering.
Its out of this world
"Morning Director nice of you to make it" haha good craic .... Thanks to all involved putting the time in to make and share the all round excellent videos.
Much appreciated!
Another great video, being spoilt by so many adverts. Keep up the good work.
Can't blame Baz for that. Blame Google.
You only get adverts because you don’t pay for TH-cam, put your hand in your pocket, it’s not expensive.
If its that cheap buy it for them then @@some_text_missing
Great work once again baz and team literally people have no respect for other people stuff these day they deserve the hefty bill at the end of it!!
Hi Baz i know that most plant has a hard life but that crusher has been negligently abused - Stay safe
Blimey, the crusher has been overloaded and abused a lot by the look of it. Glad I am not facing the repair bill. Another fine installment young man!

The lads that had that J45 on hire need a boot to the bollox. Great content, keep up the first class videos. 👍
amazing the quality of work you chaps do, cheers from Florida, Paul

What goes through the heads of operators that allows them to make decisions that result in the extent of damage shown on this crusher.

Wonder why across the pond the haul trucks are majority cab over compared to the US? Back in the 70-80s there was a lot more here.
Thanks for the video. From Cyprus 👋👋👋👋
Another great episode from welder Faber keep up the great work baz will back later got to go to work in
A tube over the welds on the pipe on the bucket would be much harder to remove in the future if needed. Would 4 or 6 long straight bars welded over be strong enough and also easier to remove if needed in the future. Also the more of your videos I watch the more I think your boss must be an amazing person especially how he has got behind you and the director with this channel.
Baz, I really think you should invest into some
kito chain and leverhoists. They're a pretty buck but I promise it's for a good reason.
Great vid as usual . Just wondering whether it would be a worthwhile investment to put a Oilquick oqc coupler on the end of the sennebogen material handler and have a spare bucket to avoid downtime and nighttime call outs .
Just a spare bucket would do it, no need for an oil quick as those are for machines that change accessories several times a day...
it has a lot of gaps between loads it just needs a good refreb
Would it not be feasible to weld a piece of 4in angle down each side of the tubes on the bucket?
Good idea 👍
We have 6m wheel wash for sale used need bit of work working when dismantled was going to send to sale AanV Squires but needs 3 phase

Hi Baz a great video what a mess that crusher was in that’s some bill they are going to end up with just amazes my have people have not respect for stuff hired stuff should get more respect as you know if u break it you’ll be paying for it
Videos are mint baz, were you into plant or structural steel first and how did you fall into the opposing trade from the original trade?
started plant then structural then back to plant, just always went where the work was
where you get your welding cables from baz?
Another great chronicle, Baz.
With all the welding your shop does, do you provision wire by the ton? lol
In a week, how much welding wire do you use?
Thanks for sharing.
Not that much all depends whats in we mainly on sites
Another quality episode, that crusher has had serious operator abuse and wasn't done in a day , total lack of respect for other companies gear
Hi Baz how actually did they bend this coverer
cant be sure maybe the rams did after it was damaged a lot of small times
Well Baz & Director what’s the craic? Great video obviously who ever had the crusher on hire must have been operating it with the “it’s a rental don’t be gentle” attitude, brutal abuse on a machine. Directors new motor is nice…next he will have a chopper like Foxies!!

Top video as always but I think you need more dramatic music for the welding scenes 🤣🤣🤣
haha

Are you able to tell us a the cost of repair V getting a new frame?
What would it not be more cost effective buying a new frame would they not have a frame in stock
time if we are too busy is valuable but its a 5-6 wait to get 1 so we would of made it
👍👍👍
being called out at 11.30 pm to go grind and weld outside in the cold is hard graft
its normal, but I'm feeling it these days
it looks like some earthmoving machine back into it. pushing the front in causing the frame to collapse
Why do you weld with short circuit mode instead of spray transfer? ST would be much quicker.
What is short circuit mode welding 😂

Hello from Canada! Always astounds me how rental units are abused by "customers" and then totally surprised that you hold them acountable! try 500
I’d guess that someone has tried to lift the front end of the crusher using an excavator under the conveyor looking at how some of the supports are bent up.
Is there no way of strengthening them clamp buckets at that weld? You always seem to be going out fixing them
I’m sure this is the same piece of kit he went to give tips on few videos back
Nope that was a J50
