I'm fairly new to learning to play, & found your fingerpicking lesson brilliant.Once I've mastered this, I look forward to moving on to lesson 2 . Thank you. Paul Lucas.
Excellent exercises. Exercises 2 and 3 introduce the concept on a drone pattern played on one string, the E or the A String. I've never seen this type of exercise suggested.
Thanks for this tuto, allowing me do review this picking pattern. But with a low G, up to you, is it better to adapt this pattern, beginning with the G string ?

Thanks for this tuto, allowing me do review this picking pattern. But with a low G, up to you, is it better to adapt this pattern, beginning with the G string ?
You are exactly right: With a low G, you start with your thumb on string 4 and then move on to string 3. Thanks for the observation!
