Stu you are the Buddha of Ukulele teaching. Thank you! Your videos always my mind at ease! My soul smiles☮😇 great tutorial! I going outside inside yes indeed
Hey Ukulele man, what you replaced your shoji screen with a fireplace ! おはようござます。 Really thanks for this lesson. Sadly I don't think it is possible to join your Patreon site from overseas. Better just to send you cash, but.. anyway glad I've been following you for the last month. Learned a lot. When I get some songs down, maybe I'll hit the いざかいや and play for a few drinks. No alcohol though. Your style of teaching is "sincere and coming from a sharing and caring heart " that has experience the road of " I'm going to live my dreams of my youth". Keep it up young man. ありがとう。
How marvellous!! I have been looking for some time for a tutorial that is easy and fun. Your lesson was perfect, and a pleasure to watch. Oh and I love your Blowin in the Wind it was very inspiring! Thanks :)
I don't mind & I don't think many other people mind (when a video runs long) because your stuff always has structure & nuggets of merit for players. How for eg. did I know you were going to tuck in " Blowin' in the wind", a song I aspire to learn on uke!
You're GREAT. A string attention span is probably the greatest musical skill one can develop (it's not "sexy" to talk about, but if we can't hang & listen, how will we learn & be with other full when we play?). Aaaaand, i'll step off my soapbox now thank you very much :)
Thanks Shashwat...there's a peaceful easy feeling to fingerstyle playing. It's a joy to make it soft & quiet...the dynamics make it really musical. Be well, Stu
yeeeees I'm just working blown' in thee wind in the moment, trying to sing correctly with the island pattern. I'll go straight trying this cool finger style and I come back for a duo with you on blowin' in the wind via my computer screen ;)
Hey Stu. Thanks so much for your great videos. Even though I'm learning to Travis pick as an upside down lefty, your breakdowns are really helpful. I can't find that PDF on your website though. What am I missing here?
I’ll look into this - there’s a tab that was for sale but a free one should be up there. Hmmm...lemme check. About to board a plane for Scotland (a likely excuse! ;) I’ll check soon...
www.stufuchs.com/store scroll down the right side & click "free tabs & goodies". There's a tab for sale there for part 2 of this series. Thanks for watching!
Hi Laura, those are black fluorocarbon string made by Freemont. Look them up on google & you'll find them :). Please subscribe & ring the notification bell to keep in the loop of my upcoming videos :) Play on....

Yeah...it's a guitar technique really...so....low G is a better choice for getting that sound. That said, some folks like to make it work with hi G...just sayin'....thanks for watching!

Cool cool! More to come on this subject. It's really a guitar technique, but it can work on the uke - especially low G tuning.
excellent! super cool patterns indeed.
Very good
Thanks for watching & joining in :-)
Rockin that Kala! I’m In!
I bought your ebook ukebilly. Great stuff to learn. Greetings from Germany.

I don't see the free worksheet in the comments
Hi Stu, is the book the Rockabilly book?

Hi Stu, I still could not find the PDF for Travis picking Part 1 and Part 2 at www.stufuchs.com/store. Any ideas why I cannot find them.
It’s in the store...it may be showing up differently in your browser - it should be there in the “bargain bin”.
Этим приемом можно играть Dust In The Wind - Kansas! ^_^
+Comedy Crab Пожалуйста!
+Ukulele Zen (Stuart Fuchs) And yes, very true -Dust in the wind is a great example of this!
Hi Stu, I also cannot find the PDF.
Hey Roland - the tab is here: www.stufuchs.com/store Thanks for watching!
Ok yeah, great video but who is going to give me corrective feedback while you are on tour? Miss our lessons see you when you get home.
Hi Stu, what kind/brand of strings do you have on your uke. I have same Kala model but mine doesn't sound as good as yours.
Hi Laura, those are black fluorocarbon string made by Freemont. Look them up on google & you'll find them :). Please subscribe & ring the notification bell to keep in the loop of my upcoming videos :) Play on....
Can't find the PDF for this lesson. Your 'bargain bin' runs from Blues Solo in G to Amazing Grace. No sign of anything Travis related.
Hi Alan, the tablature for part two of this video is for sale at my websites store. This was made long before I launched my Patreon page in Dec ‘18...thanks for watching 🎶
low G seems sounding better here
