The ceremony at the end was a form of the haka. It's part of the culture of indigenous New Zealand Maori people. They do a war dance type face off at the start of the nrl Aboriginal vs Maori game each year, or when playing a polynesian country. Well they do it against every team but its more intense when its met with a responding cultural dance from another indigenous team.

Adding to the list,Roger has won player of the year-2018,best Fullback-2015 & 2018 & best winger-2015.
