I've been patiently waiting for another video from you. I always enjoy your videos. And I absolutely have to agree with you. The Roadmaster series of motorcycles are head and shoulders above anything else. It sets the mark for all other manufacturers to chase. So many features. And luxuries. The only thing I wish my 2021 Chieftain turned RM had fog lights standard like the swoop front fender Roadmasters. Shame. It cost me plenty to add that. The only thing I could ever ask for is saddlebag internal flush mounted LED lights. Beyond that I can't think of anything else. Thank you!!

Awesome. I’ve been looking for a nice long term rider. Meaning someone who has put some miles on the Roadmaster. I love mine for sure, although it’s only 1 1/2 months old. I was looking for American made dependable and it looks as though we’ve struck gold. Like you, I’ve had plenty of Harley’s, a few beemers, Moto Guzzi…etc.
Glad to see someone who walks the walk. Thank You for the video.

I seriously considered buying an Indian in 2019. I actually made a deal on one, but backed out before pulling the trigger. However, this new Pursuit is a game changer. I think that might be my next new bike.

I have a 2017 Roadmaster with nearly 60k seasonal miles on it. I’m 72 and very much enjoying retirement.
Test road a 2014 Chieftain at a demo ride in Sturgis.
After the ride, I was hooked.
However, I decided to wait a few years as I do whenever a new model of anything comes out in the hopes any kinks get ironed out that can plague first year models.
So, sold my Goldwing and purchased a new 2017 black over cream Roadmaster!
I love Harleys. They’re beautiful bikes, but I wanted an American bike other than a Harley. Couldn’t resist the look of the Indian or its iconic name.
So far, it’s been as reliable as my Goldwing. Had to replace the voltage regulator.
    And yes, it is hot!
But at freeway speeds it doesn’t bother me. Stop ‘n go traffic and road construction cook my right leg a bit.
Leaving for Durango, Colorado soon to an Indian rally. Around a 1,400 one way ride starting from Michigan, the start of a two-three road trip.
Changed the oil and filter,Polished it up. Gased it up and it’s packed for the ride.
    Loving retirement…a lot!

Two things. 1). I've been a stage IV cancer survivor. Until it came back this month. Time to attack it again.
2). I will post this video to the FB Roadmaster page.
    Thank you

Do not go gently into that good night, Rage against the dying of the light. My daughter has been fighting breast cancer going on 3 years, so I can empathize with you.

I still like shinny paint and chrome, no dark bikes with dull paint for me.

Thank you for this video (and the 2-year and 3-year videos too!). Also for replying to the question above about repairs even more than a year later!
I've heard of chrome flaking and voltage regulators too. Glad to know you haven't had issues like those. Now if I could just get a post-2020 in willow green and ivory cream 🤔

Nice work, owner reviews are definitely more detailed. I'm about to hit 100.000klm (currently on 95.000) and will be a 100.000 review on that, good and bad. You made some very valid points on this video. Well done.

Great review, a very fair and in-depth, I have the 2020 Chieftain which I've owned for just over a year and have loved every ride. The rear cylinder deactivation certainly makes a difference to the heat, but they do run hot, but only really feel it when stationary.

The roadmaster is the ducks nuts my friends I've put 40,000 kms on my 2017 black and cream. I've enjoyed every km on my standard bike. The stereo is king just need a sub woofer.

I put true duals on my 2018 chief , I didn’t have a problem with heat after that.

Thanks for that very informative review. I've been riding bikes since I was 14. I am ready to buy a Roadmaster. I love the classic fairing but the only thing I don't like is the valence front fender. The Indian website doesn't give an option to order the bike with an open fender, although I presume that is somehow possible. I would appreciate any feedback in that regard.

I have seen people change the fender and front wheel after purchase. I do not know if the dealer can order that combo or not. I would think a good dealer could make that happen.

The Dark Horse model has the open front fender and you get an open fender if you get the 19" front tire option on the regular Roadmaster. I think the 19" front tire rides better anyway, it feels a little more nimble.

I had a saddle bag fall off going down the highway. I now have the bolt on hardware. I have ridden in 100 + weather.

I had a 2017 ultra limited. Was in the market for a new bike. Test rode the Indians and was liking the roadmaster limited. That was until I test rode the Harley roadglide limited. Something about this fixed fairing and taller handlebars made it more comfortable. I see the new pursuit matches it with features.

You must have the 6-speaker stereo.
My 2020 only has 4 and the 200 watt system

Wish Indian made a trike with better suspension then the triglide

Harlee should be EMBARRASSED selling a $42,000 CVO and then the owner immediately having to upgrade that shit suspension. If that ain’t GREED I don’t know what is ☝️ 1:11

I've seen an insert that goes UNDER the rear cylinder exhaust pipe......
As for those quick release bag kits....
LEAVE THEM ALONE, DON'T TAKE THE CHANCE.
