At around 6 minutes into video, there’s this ‘vocalic’,”JAO”-sounding waveform but when I looked closer, it seems the main oscillator’s waveform is being changed at a very quick rate, either by midi or CV. There’s something very mysterious about that main oscillator section. Is he modulating the first OSC’s waveform type with with an LFO?! The results are mind blowing. THERE! He keeps making that vertical row of lights move up and down, that is the waveform indicator, no? THIS GUY GETS DOWN, I WANT APPRENTICESHIP!
Just managed to get one Neutron before it was sold out! I think I am one of the first in Italy to get one. I'm recording these days and I hope I can upload an unboxing and first impression video in italian language shortly.
I regret selling my SQ-1 a few months ago! I didn't know an affordable semi-modular like the Neutron would arrive so soon. I'm just as impressed as anyone here by this synth. I anticipate it very much. On a side note, seeing the SQ-1 here made me wonder if and when Korg will enter the modular game. I think they are capable of devising some useful and affordable Eurorack!
This synth going through guitar pedals is absolute madness. Though this bastard on its own screams like a banshee if you feel so inclined..... feeding their TD-3 clone into it sounds fantastic too :) my only issue with it is the way it handles filters... it feels strange not having a cutoff knob at all, unless I've somehow missed it using a different name. Which wouldn't surprise me tbh :P
tuning in from düsseldorf/germany and very curious about this machine, as it seems to be a new sonic approach and character of its own. interesting performance by gianni grisanzio that gives a realistic impression. from the designside it could be more sophisticated. but at the end it seems to be a really cool and inspiring machine.
That must be the best synth demo ever, i think it just sold me one, unbelieveable how useless all other demos are, this one shows me just what i want to do with it, others play sinewaves through a scope and talk for 20 minutes. GREAT !
I like the white noise in the ending. Not sure I'll be hanging onto my JP-08 for long once I've got my stickies on one of these. Got to make room and the JP lacks mojo but this baby looks to be as inspirational as my ancient Clef B30 monosynth and the reface CS.
Pete and Rob you are geniuses, I recognise a few cats on here who have left comments, so I hope you made plenty, cuz we're all gonna get one, or maybe two😉 from a brummy who lived in Manc land in 90s😉😉
I'm very excited for this, so much in fact that I check every couple of hours for new info and sound demos on the Neutron!! Any idea if this will be rackmountable?
Nice! First i have seen of someone actually playing with it instead of just demonstrating how each knob sounds. Can anyone tell me what the assign functions are?
I wish you guys would do a boutique line like Roland just did or a mini deep mind 12 or run that idea to where you take that idea and make the brains separate from the actual keys so you can use any existing board you all ready have or own or even a weighted key piano like I use for a controller !!! Just ideas guys love your stuff :)
In the Neutron's manual it say e.gate input trigger input are 5 volt(trigger at 3.3volt), the sq-1 gate out are 10 volts. I see he patch the sq-1 gate to the neutron directly(no attenuator). Are there any danger to damage the unit from overvoltage long term?
I'm excited. I've ordered this and the Model D. Curios about how these will suit in with the Mother 32. Btw has anyone some news about their upcoming UB-Xa, when will it be ready for shipment?
I'm in Manchester, England. I don't own a hardware synth yet, only software and midi controllers - but I want to get this to include some true analogue sounds in my tracks. When will this be available to purchase in the UK?
I would buy like 3 or 4 of these in a heartbeat if Behringer got in touch w/ some design experts to revise the front panel aesthetics (colour, etc.). Really don't want to nitpick, but I know I am not the only consumer who thinks that the appearance of the Neutron does not do justice to the character of the synthesizer. Functionally and practically speaking, the Neutron seems to be a fantastic semi-modular piece. Kudos to Behringer for setting out to provide accessible gear to those who can't afford to buy traditional synthesizers!
Come to think of it, with all the hype of the Neutron online these days I'm sure Behringer could ask the public to redesign the front panel aesthetics. Just the aesthetics--functionally-speaking, I'm sure most would agree that the engineers did a tremendous job. Individuals could send in their designs, and Behringer could allow us to vote on the best one. Just a thought. At least this way cost of design can be minimized
I think the same. Not sold on the red or some of the design. But at the price and sounding this good, with this many features? Would probably still buy if it was pink with white spots! But I think a black or grey front panel would look a lot sleeker. And loose all those naff graphics as well.
price, sound and functionality = wow ps/builtin delay is a great idea pps/also im waiting 303/sh101 with extended functionality - just clone is not interested)

I'd love to see a video of someone using a Neutron for some 70's style funky bass riffs.
Wonderfull sounds sounds covering sounds from from the last 30 years and much more and very inspiring for new tracks. Lovely
Tuning in from London UK - hope you manage to make enough of these as they are going to sell like hot cakes. Bravo!
Tuning in from Texas, looking into the neutron as my second synth and first semi-modular, so far i'm super impressed.
Buying ASAP! Bloody awesome. Can't wait to get my hands on this thing.

tuning in from Australia, absolutely love what you guys have put together, amazing synth! can't wait to get my hands on one.
Cygnus loop Also from Aus, NSW. Looking forward to this. I hope that can meet demand and send enough down under. A must buy at the expected price.
Mine is coming tomorrow. Can't wait!
I enjoyed every minute of it. Great sounds. A must buy for sure after this demo.

This is a fantastic exploration. The places he gets a single voice to go with very simple sequences is inspiring. This is creativity.

Makes me wonder what two or three "stacked" neutron's might sound like ( -playing the same patch ). Love Gianni's approach to exploring the synth.
Splendid job Behringer!
Tuning in from Houston Texas and cant wait to own this !!!
Really like some of those sounds!!! I thought i was finished buying music equipment, but i guess not...
Sounds pretty fantastic. I so want one of these!

This will sell like hot cakes
Wow! That was awesome!!
Maestro Sig Grisanzio
Oggi finalmente lo acquistato, lo trovato subito interessante anche grazie alla sua performance interessante.
Gianni is a great artist!

Thanks to you Uli...go on building synth!! come in modular too!!!
Got one today all I can say is wow 👏
That wall is perfect
great Idea's coming with this Synth...
Tuning in from Oregon (have a Neutron already).
Sounds great.
This is absolutely fantastic! I would love to try it, do you have your MUSIC Tribe studios in Manchester?
I'm very excited for this, so much in fact that I check every couple of hours for new info and sound demos on the Neutron!! Any idea if this will be rackmountable?
It is. The case is the same as the Model D. Just unscrew it and put it into a Eurorack slot
Excellent device!
Excellent!
Nice! First i have seen of someone actually playing with it instead of just demonstrating how each knob sounds.
Can anyone tell me what the assign functions are?
Various midi -> CV (note, velocity, cc)
Jens M Andreasen oh sweet, was hoping for at least velocity. Looks like I got it.:)
Please excuse my ignorance. What is he using with the Neutron besides a reverb pedal? A sequencer?
Exactly what i have been looking for. it looks to be the same size of a mother 32. Will it fit into the Mother 32 rack that's out there?
Love from La Mana, Ecuador.

Avalaible when? and final price? Thx for the video!!!
Finally ! 👏🏼
I need this thing, like NOW!.
In Vancouver B.C. would love to test this out ....

Loves BEHRINGER
When in the world is this thing coming out?
I'm in Manchester, England. I don't own a hardware synth yet, only software and midi controllers - but I want to get this to include some true analogue sounds in my tracks. When will this be available to purchase in the UK?
Can these bad-boys be poly-chained like their cousins the Model D?

He looks like he's having a great time....
Anyone notice the keyboard?
Yes. I wondered for a moment if he was actually going to play a tune with it. I probably should have guessed...
