I wanted to be a general nurse but what made me changed from general nurse to midwifery was when i got pregnant at a teen age and was feeling devastated and disappointed but this midwife in my area saw me took me as a daughter,advised me and was always available to take me to antenatal and render any help till the day i delivered my baby i was touched by the woman’s kindness towards me and decided to also help the helpless by becoming a midwife. Growing up my mom was very sick and I was the only relative with her by then so I took her to the hospital for treatment.When we got there we met a nurse who took good care of my mom and even paid our hospital bills. I saw how compassionate and selfless she was but after my mom was discharged we didn't get the opportunity to thank her enough, because of what she did it triggered my desire to be able to help people like what she did.
I realized my desire for nursing when I witnessed an accident first hand. A motorcyclist collided with a truck, injuring his leg and head. Seeing the pain on his face,I wished I had known how to provide first aid and assist him. That moment sparked my passion for nursing.

The answer l gave was a public health nurse was transferred to my hometown and the kind of qualities and skills that nurse used to work was very encouraging so l told the nurse l want to be like her and she said l should pay it forward so that gave me the zeal and confident to apply for their school and chose public health nursing over the other courses because l want to be train the same way that nurse was trained.
I want to become a nurse because one of my sister's were not feeling well and I was ask to take her to the hospital and at the hospital , the nurse that was assigned to take care of my sister was very good to us, how she talks to me and my sister, the way she was attending to my sister and how fast she was able to make my sister stand up on her feet really impressed me and this is the reason I wanted to be a nurse in other to save people life and also help relieve them from there pain
I want to become a nurse because a friend of mine was involved in an accident and was admitted at the hospital, so i went to pay him a visit the nurse that was assigned to take care of him was so good and at the same time nice. One thing she did that makes me feel like becoming a nurse is the way she make sure he takes his medication in time,another thing i also like about her is anytime she comes around she asked him how his feeling at the moment in a very polite and a caring way.
