From my nurse experience, it is wise for him to have antibiotics and to get the infection under control before surgery. When he has the surgery, he will receive antibiotics as a routine as well. Please help your little children. Their lives are disrupted so much right now. Love your little 4 year old especially. She's too little to understand all that is happening. Hugs to all of you from an internet stranger who cares. ❤

Oh Momma, you have so many things to juggle. It is hard to weigh the pros and cons for everyone. I think you and your husband are doing an incredible job of caring for your whole family. Retired nurse here. I'm glad that the infection was found before surgery. Azariah is getting incredibly good care if this is his first infection after this much time in the hospital. I know it is hard to wait but a tincture of time and some antibiotics will help. Sending blessings, hugs and warm thoughts to all of you. ❤
I was awakened at 3:24 this morning to pray. Seriously pray. I don’t even remember how and what I prayed for; I guess I just prayed in Spirit. But I knew I was praying for Azariah. I just knew. I just knew. And the family. It is so hard. Just.So.Hard. Thanks for the update; it’s not what we wanted, but I certainly appreciate it. I know better how to pray.
You are a wonderful Mom trying to balance everyone’s needs. You are doing the best you can…God knows your heart. You are in my thoughts and prayers. You caught my son walking by the elevator in your video. He has a blue flannel top on.
Oh dear. I am sure it is hard for you to hear what we all think you should do. I know most people mean well. But I want to compliment you on doing what is best for your family. It's easy to give advice from the outside looking in. Ultimately you and your husband know how your family works best. I am so amazed by how your family functions. I am a 74 year old Grandma to 12, Great Grandma to one and Mom to five. I have learned so much from you and your insights about everyday living. The love you have for all your children is so evident. God bless you and your family.....keep on going Momma.....you are not alone. Prayers continue for your precious Azariah❤❤❤
Dear Mommabear….you are doing such an incredible job navigating through this challenging, exhausting journey. You are surrounded by people who are praying for your beautiful family and Azariah’s successful operation. ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for the update. I’m glad they’re taking precaution. Surgery involves open wounds and the infection could inhibit the healing as well as his strength to recover. I’m surprised they hadn’t started him on antibiotic anticipating the surgery a few days ahead before the bacteria. I’m sorry for this roller coaster you’re going through. Hugs for the children - having to be apart from you and also for the animals - not getting to say goodbye to them. Your life has certainly changed! It’s so hard for the littles. I will continue to pray for all the facets of what is happening. ❤️🙏🏼
You look and sound fine especially considering the situation. We don't notice your voice being raspy and you always look put together. I just looked up VSD and I can't imagine being in your shoes right now. You will pull through this. You always have
Hello, Sending you love and a hug. You are such a strong Mom. I have lived through what you are living now. A baby in the NICU. I pray your sweet baby boy will be well enough to go home with you soon. I never got to take my baby girl home. And I wish I had the support to have been able to be with my daughter more than I could. You spend all the time you possibly can with your son. What a loving family you have. Praying for you all. God is carrying you through this. Love from Rhode Island.
How sad. I know what you are going through. My daughter was born in 1974 and lived only a few hours. I didn't get to see or hold her. No pictures were taken so I have struggled with that for 50 years. After having 4 healthy sons and a daughter I miscarried another baby in 1984. My thoughts and prayers are with you
Im so sorry Azariah has developed an infection , but grateful it was caught before surgery. I cant imagine what you and your family are going through. But one thing i know from experience Jesus will hold you up and give you strength. You and your family are amazing. Hope you get to your little girl soon and give her lots of hugs.. prayers for you all ❤❤
I don’t know how you do it. With 15 kids and a newborn in the hospital. I remember when my daughter was born she was in the NICU and I was in another hospital. I was frantic. God bless you.
You are strong and God is with you and Azariah and I pray his will be done and that Azariah gets the best treatment possible. He is too sweet and we are all praying for him.
What your family is going through is unimaginable and the fact that you’re doing it is nothing short of God’s grace. His love carrying you all. Prayers for you all❤️
Thanks for the update on little Azariah, I pray he overcomes this bacterial infection so he can have his crucial surgery. I know everyday brings new challenges & that waiting on God's timing can be hard but take comfort that the Lord is moving in the most perfectly loving way. I pray you find space to take a physical as well as an emotional break! You all take care, sending love & prayers as always! 💖🙏🇦🇺✨️
Please take care of yourself. I know you are very stressed. Please make sure you spend time with your kids, especially the younger ones. They probably don't understand. ❤
Oh your poor wee little girl missing her mummy, you’re such a close family and she’s such a tender age, it must be hard for her to fully understand that momma bear needs to be in 4 different places at once. I hope you can settle everyone back down again. I pray for Azariah and that the antibiotics do their job so he can get this surgery done and get him recovering from it. Also praying for comfort for the children who are upset about their animals, they form such special bonds whether they’re pets or being raised for food! Praying that the lord gives you and your husband the strength you need to get through this uncertain time waiting for Azariahs surgery. Thinking of you and sending love to all and gentle hugs for the little man I pray he feels better and has a more peaceful time than last night xx
This must be so disappointing for you , but God has his reasons even if we cant see it , you must be exhausted , dont worry about your voice. I didnt even notice , the main thing is you & your lovely family are doing ok 😊
Big hugs and lots of prayers for you, Momma Bear. May God surround you with His protection and grace. Continued prayers for Azariah, to fight this infection and be well enough for his surgery in a few days and for a successful surgery when they can do it. Prayers for all of your darling family. My heartbreaks for you and your family. The waiting is so very hard. Unless anyone has been in your shoes I would say they should not give advice. I don’t mean to be harsh but it is hard enough to go through so much without other people’s opinion. God bless. Love, hugs and prayers.
You and your husband are great parents. Besides worrying about Azariah, you are both dealing with kids living in different places, getting groceries, and meal planning in both places.

So sorry that Azariah’s surgery was postponed due to an infection. Fortunately, the hospital staff is taking good care of him. Praying that he is over the infection by the end of the week. The wait for surgery must be excruciating for you and your family. I’m sure all this is difficult for your other kids too, but you are doing the best you can. In fact, I think you are doing amazing!! You just had a baby 2 months ago, and haven’t had any time to recover yourself. Yet, you have faithfully attended, like a mother hen, to all your kids. I really admire how much you have been able to do. Don’t listen to any negativity. Who is perfect anyway? I will to continue to keep Azariah, and your family in my thoughts and prayers. ❤

You are currently being pulled in all different directions and dealing with a lot of emotion, but it sounds like you are such a strong family, and a lot of individuals are all doing as much as they can to make sure what needs to be done gets done in whatever way possible. It is sad that your 4-year-old is struggling with these changes but some quality time with you will make her feel better. You are such a calming influence considering what must be running through your head. It is very impressive how you have kept everything on an even keel. Your children are lucky to have parents like you. Things are not ideal at the moment, but you all have each other to love and protect and it is amazing how you manage to do that. God Bless you all.
I am so sorry you had to go through that. I guess I am more sensitive to what I perceive as negative comments because starting at a young age I took care of my 14 younger brothers and sisters (I had an older brother and sister also) Mom was a good mom but being pregnant yearly and cooking and cleaning for us all she needed the help. We all turned out fine and they remind me sometimes that I did a good job of caring for them. I wasn't bitter about helping so I thank God for that
Praying hard for your family and thanking God that they found the infection so it can get cleared up before baby Azariah's surgery. Setbacks are so hard to deal with but of course like you said it is all about what's best for your son Abundant blessings and prayers for all of you
I have been through a time where I was being fed through a nasal gastric tube. I got a bad infection and the tube was removed. I've also been fed straight into my veins anid each line clotted as my body rejects anything artificial. Thank you for updating us as it means we can pray for your specific needs for baby Azariah and all his family that love him dearly.
Continued prayers for you and your family. My heart goes out to you all! I am glad that they found this infection beforehand. I pray he starts to feel better soon. Hang in there.❤

Sending some encouragement to you, Momma Bear, there are some stinkers in the comment section. Don't give them the time of day. You're doing a great job! ❤❤❤ Praying baby Azariah gets his surgery soon.
Oh goodness MommaBear. The family has really had their struggles. Keeping you in prayers. You and your husband are being pulled in every direction. Sending love and hugs to all. Baby boy is so strong, many prayers are being sent from all over the world. Bless you.
Momma... Im sorry things are setback. I know you want to get him well, and on the road to better health. Sorry about your little one. Its nice she will be with you. Hugs❤
MB … I’m grateful that they realized that he had an infection and have taken the necessary precautions. I wouldn’t want them to rush this surgery as it’s one that shouldn’t be rushed at any step. I’m seeing the negative comments and I just want to say that I’m sorry. People are cruel and have no respect. If they don’t like it, they need to unsubscribe from your channel and not watch. Prayers for everyone 🙏🏼
You and your family are truly being tested during this time of separation and upheaval in your lives. Your older children should be commended for how responsible they are taking care of households and even though you have provided new toys, lots of new clothes and a new environment, it is still not the same as home. Azariah is in good care! I don’t know how much you are able to hold him and comfort him, but I would cherish every moment with him before the surgery, because you may not be able to hold again for awhile.
The children are in a new rented home not too far from Boston. Their former home is a remote area of Maine. She has made the best choice in renting a home closer to her. You may have missed those videos.
All things in His timing ✝️❤️. I've had to tell myself this many times as well! Praying for peace and comfort for you and family and for infection to clear soon 🙏❣️
Praying for you, for strength, courage, clear mind and peace. Youre doing a great job of juggling so many things God's richest blessings to you and your family. ❤
Praying sweet mama. I can say so many things, but most has been said in other comments. I will say, that God is on His throne, and He will see your family through. Blessings sweet lady to you and yours❤️😇❤️😇❤️😇🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🤗🤗🤗🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I am sorry about Azariah getting an infection. I know that you must be so disappointed. People can give their opions but they haven't walked in your shoes. I feel you have to do what is best for your family. You're amazing. I don't know if I could do what you are doing. Continued prayers for Azariah, you and your family. ❤️🙏
That’s disappointing and frustrating. Breathe. In….out….sigh. Glad they caught the infection before such a big surgery. They must know it’s quite treatable or they wouldn’t have moved him to cardio floor. Hugs.
I'm sorry to hear that Azariah's surgery has been delayed due to an infection. To have built yourself up mentally in preparation for the surgery going ahead to it being delayed must have pulled heavy on your heart. It is good that the infection was found before the operation went ahead and he is being treated for it now. Hopefully it won't take long before the culture's come back and ensure Azariah is receiving the correct antibiotics. Sorry to hear that your daughter is having a hard time too but glad you got to spend some time with her. I bet you were met with a huge hug! Continuous prayers for Azariah and all the family. Sending big hugs and lots of love 🙏❤️❤️❤️🏴
Oh Momma Bear praying really hard for Azariah, you and the family. Also praying that the Drs to listen to God as they operate. Please Lord surround this precious family with your arms and watch over all that is happening bring them peace and love. Love and hugs to you all 🩵🩵🙏🙏🙏
I'm sorry the surgery is being pushed down the road, but, like you said, it's the best for Azariah. You want him as healthy and strong as possible for the surgery. You must be exhausted! You're doing an amazing job, you're an amazing mother! We appreciate your keeping us in the loop. You have so many people praying for your whole family. God bless you all!

Hi Mama Bear friends in Wyoming. Well this is where our trust in God again kicks in. God sees the whole picture. We can be thankful that they found the bacteria before surgery. But these hick-ups aren’t easy either. Wish I lived closer to help with the other little ones especially when they want you. We are still praying for Gods guidance and wisdom for Drs,nurses and staff. Will be anxiously waiting for another update For our little man.

@@mommabear2many These are tough conversations that your prayer partners are having on your behalf, MommaBear… I trust that we are all coming from a place of love, care, and concern-and that there is no reason for you to answer us. I think we are “think aloud.” But unfortunately, we are giving voice to so,e of your worst fears-and we have the audacity to think that you just might NOT have thought of them. How silly of us to think that you haven’t thought of it all, over and over and over… I hope we can be more quiet, in love and wrap you in hugs of prayer. It’s an honor to be included in your family. Thanks for the update, as always.

Prayers your little one and your family! So scary. Our grandson had heart surgery and we were on pins and needles. Have to trust the doctors. Put it in God's hands.🙏🙏🙏
MommaBear. I agree in part with the lady about the kids being home. It maybe be something to seriously consider. At least if the kids are home, there will be some kind of normalcy. Sending love and prayers. Just a reminder, continue to do you and not bend to what other people , including myself, say you should do. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The kids are at they new home at a rented house nearby. The kids going back to Maine would not be good since that is over 7 hours away. Some of the littles are at the Ronald McDonald House near the hospital where she is staying so she can be nearby. The father got transferred so he can be with the other children at the new rental. They are managing that just fine. Any 4 year old no matter the circumstances would have a difficult time. She is doing her best to make sure all needs are met. Only she knows what is best.
From my nurse experience, it is wise for him to have antibiotics and to get the infection under control before surgery.
When he has the surgery, he will receive antibiotics as a routine as well.

Praying for you and your family❤️
Praying for you and your family. Blessed friend 🙏🙏🙏🙏 God is faithful and blessed 😇
So True ✨🙏✨
Yes thank you.
Lots of love & prayers ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤

I am sorry about Azariah getting an infection. I know that you must be so disappointed. People can give their opions but they haven't walked in your shoes. I feel you have to do what is best for your family. You're amazing. I don't know if I could do what you are doing.

Yes, same have to talk for a bit to clear the vocal cords. Good for you, meeting your daughter's needs while going through this challenging time.
That’s disappointing and frustrating. Breathe. In….out….sigh. Glad they caught the infection before such a big surgery. They must know it’s quite treatable or they wouldn’t have moved him to cardio floor. Hugs.
Prayers 🙏 🙏 🙏 ❤
Prayers the infection clears up soon ❤️❤️
Praying for All of you God bless , hugs from SD

Hi Mama Bear friends in Wyoming. Well this is where our trust in God again kicks in. God sees the whole picture. We can be thankful that they found the bacteria before surgery. But these hick-ups aren’t easy either. Wish I lived closer to help with the other little ones especially when they want you. We are still praying for Gods guidance and wisdom for Drs,nurses and staff. Will be anxiously waiting for another update
For our little man.
@@karlabollinger5331 Thank-you, Karla for reminding us about trust… trusting that God sees the whole picture, the timing, and the answers that we cannot yet even fathom. Blessings, from northern Indiana, just five minutes from a winter blizzard of Lake Michigan’s first lake-effect dumping of the year! 💗💗
Yes my husband and I were chatting about that this morning we don’t know why but God does we need to trust in Him.
Sorry to hear Azariah has a little infection. It's good that they've found that out before the surgery though so they can give him antibiotics. Fingers crossed he's soon free of infection and can have his surgery ❤
Prayers your little one and your family! So scary. Our grandson had heart surgery and we were on pins and needles. Have to trust the doctors. Put it in God's hands.🙏🙏🙏
Prayers continue for all.
Praying throughout the day for Azariah and family. ❤
Praying for all!
@@corinnamyers6625 A lot to consider with 12 children at home who need stability and an education.
@@uffda wonderfully said!❤️
Prayers ongoing. May God guide in all your decisions. Blessings!
Prayers and strength for you all, may the antibiotics help and he gets surgery soon
Sounds like you’re getting sick, hopefully everything turns out well 🩵
