The Big Boy is a prime example of a time when Americans took pride in their work and what they built. It's not only a monumental machine but in some ways a work of art. How i wish Americans these days would all put as much pride and effort into the things they do from day to day as the generation that built these great machines did, and that the companies that produce goods now would concentrate more on quality than just quantity and stop producing so many throw away products.

UP 4014 had a wreck in like 1924 something i think that year
4014 was built in 1941. #4005 was the only big boy to get wrecked and it was in 1953.
