I totally get the feeling of after a vacation, coming back to your own space. I was on a two day small vacation with my dad. It was great to get a way and spend time with him. We do this every Summer. But there is nothing like coming back to my own space which is filled with runs (just did a 1 hour run at the gym. so needed), healthier eating (my father unfortunately has gone down a bad path with food), dog time, writing time, etc. I am on day two with being back in my own space, and I am very grateful. Grateful for having the privilege to have my own space while being grateful my dad can still go with me on our Summer vacation. Great video and good luck balancing it all!
I can fully relate to the elation of being back in your own space with freedom, choices and familiar routines & safe food options. Also, hiking alone feels so empowering! I don't venture very far alone, but far enough that it pushes my comfort zone ... where I am the biggest risks are snakes, big ants, ticks, creepy guys and big dogs off leash ahead of owners who don't care (tbh all dogs scare me, lol).
Totally get what you mean about the fear of starting. Whenever I haven’t written for a while I feel that too and I get it with other things I have anxiety about. But then once I start, it’s totally fine, and with writing, once I start, it’s like, oh yeah I love this, why didn’t I want to start?
@@TheAdventuresOfAbsmagail it is definitely a struggle haha. What helps me is trying to remind myself of how much I love it when I am doing it. I also use videos from authortubers like Sara to motivate me. I’ll often watch 5 or 10 minutes of a vlog and when I see someone else working on their writing, it makes me want to work on my own. I usually do this at the beginning of a writing session to help get me started. Sometimes I also have to hack my brain by telling myself I’m only gonna do it for 15 minutes or 30 minutes then when I hit that time usually I’m like, well I’m already writing I might as well keep going.
Good morning, Sara and happy Wednesday. Your hike looked amazing and glad you had fun during your trip. But wish there was something inspiring to say to help you get back to writing the chapter. Except for the fact, you're an amazing person, an inspiring writer and all of the videos you post proves it to be true. You got this Sara, I believe in you. Have a lovely day and happy writing. ❤
Wow, that waterfall!! Besides snakes, do you see much wildlife on your hikes? This year my routine walk takes me in a dog park that's also home to a pair of barn owls that are active at dusk. 🦉🦉 PS I'm glad you are getting back to editing DE!!!😊
The waterfall was crazy with all the snowmelt! I see a lot of birds and ground squirrels, that was the second snake I’ve seen hiking (I’ve seen lots more camping), I’ve seen moose (that was scary), but not much beyond that thankfully
There is a night and day differences between when you get out of your car to hike and after the hike. Also, How many chapters do you have in total for Project DE, if you don't mind sharing that info?
I’ll be posting a vlog later this week about editing my own book, maybe that will help with some motivation! Otherwise I’d recommend checking out my shorts or my Instagram account @ saralubrattwrites

The view from your balcony is AMAZING! That's a perfect introvert friendly spot to write all day ❤🎉
Totally!

What helps you get started again? I am struggling with this right now and don’t know what to do lol

Since this video I have gone back to editing :) it’ll be included in the next vlog!
@@SaraLubratt That's great to hear. Happy editing and have a goodnight, Sara! ❤

It very much is
There is no cooler life than the aspiring novelist! Well done!

Glad to know I’m not the only who gets tired after eating 😂
Lol yup

There totally is, I always feel so much better after
It’s like 80 something 😅
@@SaraLubratt That's not too bad. The scene list for my WIP has 200 scenes, not including the 23 scenes in the prologue. 😂
:)
I need motivation to edit my book lol. I haven't touched it in two weeks

@@SaraLubratt I'd love to see you post an edit with me video! Similar to a write with me, except with less typing, obviously, lol
:)
I just realised how much you look like Jodie Comer
Thank you!
