Thank you. I'm installing a drip system in Washington State, in March, where laying tubing out to get warm in the sun is not an option. Installing a system in an established garden before things emerge is very helpful.
@@WindowCleanerBloke cheers mate, very much appreciated. All the best in the future mate, hope you’ll still do the odd video (your a wizard with innovation!!).
I just chuck it on the lawn in the morning prior to a hot day then unwind it at lunch time (wearing gloves because it get quite hot). It's not that hard at all, even 50ms isn't difficult.
Must have an impressive water heater to be able to run that much hot water without it going cold! Mixing this with another comment: if it fits, maybe put the pipe in a tub or the washing machine, and run the hot water through the pipe into that. Drain and refill as needed. For a tub, possibly a sheet of foam insulation on the water. Will use a lot less water and pay for a lot less energy. Or, once the pipe is full, reduce the flow to enough of a trickle to keep the water hot where it comes out of the pipe.
Forget the trouble connecting an attachment to the laundry hot water tap; forget having to bring the hose into the laundry; forget untangling enough of the hose to go from the laundry to the back yard; forget wasting the power it took to heat the water. Just leave the black hose out in the sun. Go inside and make a cuppa. Watch TH-cam on smart ways to do things. After the sun has heated the pipe enough, go outside and untangle.

That is the best way I've seen to straighten out plastic tubing. Thank you very much
Great hint - worked a treat!
Best idea I've seen so far, thanks
Exactly my frustration. Thanks for this.
Thanks. Great idea. As soon as the snow melts I'll try this on a rat's nest of a tightly coiled hose. May be too tangled though. :--(
love the intro sir
Brilliant!
thx for the info, saved me some annoyance today.
Glad it helped you out.
Bugger it! Thanks for the info--great vid.
Would this work as effectively for garden hose (for WFP supply) Herman?
Yes you know when you get new garden hoses not the easiest thing to straighten out.
Just do this.

Yes we attach to our washing machine hot tap outlet. Check the video. th-cam.com/video/OyOd2h6BcMY/w-d-xo.html
Some of us don't have sunny days and warm weather, on days we can do this work, easily available on short notice. Months to years...
How did you get those burnt patches in your lawn oh from the hot water 🥺
No at the time it was very dry and the grass was dyeing off.

Step 1: wait for a hot sunny day. Around here, that may be several months to years.
Put in washing machine and spin it easy
