Lake Trout Ice Fishing New York

Late ice fishing lake trout on Schroon Lake NY. My lady and I took a run upstate for last chance ice Lakers. It was our first time fishing trout through the ice, and the trout were active on the first day although very finicky. We had a blast!

Thanks man! Place is a blast! Do you have a flasher for using lures or do you just use tip up baits?

@@ripptydevibes2581 Just ordered a garmin striker which has a flasher mode! It should be a lot better than winging it. I plan on trying to jig em and setting a couple tip ups as well
