Hi everyone! We hope you’re enjoying the holidays! As we mentioned on Tuesdays video, these are some previously recorded reactions we’re publishing to help us get ahead for the holidays. This was one of our favorite ones. Incredibly impactful but also beautiful song. Well done Yoongi, well done 👏🏼

Thank you! Happy Holiday! Watching Yoongi meet his musical hero and inspiration and watching him perform the song in tears at the concert, just breaks my heart while inspiring me all at the same time. Love this song so much.
This was prerecorded for his documentary “road to dday “ which is about the making up of his album dday. It’s pretty good , highly recommended specially if you are interested how he makes music.
The fact that this song has actually fulfilled its purpose 🥹 many junior idols have said Snooze has given them strength. Yoongi is the sweetest person ever
@@kaleighcoutermarsh4922 I know, and I don't get it. When I first found BTS (or was found by them), my initial impression of Yoongi was "This is a man who thinks deeply, and feels deeply". But a lot of people do say, when they first met Yoongi, they are not sure how to take him; he doesn't give a lot away. But as they get to know him better, the realise, that he is intelligent, and one of the kindest, most caring people you can ever hope to meet. I think Yoongi needs time to warm up to people, and feel comfortable around them (in person). But I have always said, "If you want to know Yoongi, it's right there in his music. He lays his heart and soul bare for us in his lyrics".
@@leahwarburton so well said. I also always say that he clearly feels so deeply. Even when I was a baby army I never got the impression that he was cold. He's very obviously more introverted than the other members, but so clearly such a sweetheart. That gummy smile is so disarming. I've never once seen him be mean or rude to anyone. Sarcastic, yes, but never mean. He's a beautiful, deep, GORGEOUS man.
It warms my heart that Yoongi, having found success, wants so badly to make the path easier for other people. I already loved him, but... So much respect, you know? He didn't need to do this, he just wanted to. I love that.
That's what I'm worried about tbh. Everyone has given us updates at some point during their enlistment but because of this shit that got blown way way out of proportion we haven't really gotten an update from Yoongi. SK talks a lot about wanting better for their youth but I feel this situation just proves they don't really want to take time and think about what they are putting a person through. I remember Suga talking about dropping the name Agust D because he was in a good place mentally but not sure he's going to do that now.
He also composed music for the film Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence (which he also acted in), and for which he won a BAFTA. And we see Yoongi playing it in the Documentary. Ryuichi Sakamoto
Suga wrote this song for all the juniors in K-pop industry. In their earlier years they were looked down on by all the people as they were from a small label and no one guided them and gave them advice as a real supportive senior. But they are the Senior that everyone should aspire to be they take care of all their colleagues and employees so well ❤
This was one of the last things Ryuichi Sakamoto did before he passed from a long battle with cancer. They both had great admiration for each other. So beautiful.
Yoongi wrote an amazing song and also shoutout to Woosung for writing and singing the hook. He actually wrote the lyrics that Summer mentioned “when you reach the end of the rainbow that’s when I’ll let go” This was a perfect and unexpected collab. Yoongi knew what he was doing when he called Woosung for this.
Woosung of The Rose also plays guitar He is the main vocalist for his group and he plays guitar, the other three in his group also play different instruments
I find it incredibly ironic that Suga was praised for this song by critics/ journalists and publications but now those same people showed their true colours after the incident that was blown way out of proportion. It’s clear they didn’t listen or understand the lyrics. But fans and younger idols loved it and understood its meaning and that’s all that matters.
This is one of my favorite songs by Yoongi. It’s so beautiful and such a comfort. Woosung was such a good choice for this song and he wrote the perfect hook to go with it. Woosung also has one of my favorite voices and his band The Rose has a great discography.
This is my go to song when the world is too much for me. I’d cry my heart out then somehow, I’ll regain my strength after hearing yoongi said it’s gonna be alright.
I tear up at this song pretty much every time, not just because it's beautiful and a bit sad, but because it's so sincere and heartfelt and kind. He's trying so hard to give good advice and support to people who like up to him. It's really beautiful. And sometimes I also need to hear that everything will be okay.
I actually discovered Woosung with this song. His voice - amidst those beautiful lyrics - literally made me tear up. I rarely cry and it took me by surprise. I immediately looked him up and fell in love with him and The Rose.
Suga has written so many works of art, it's completely impressive, I love this song so much and it's hard to describe what it means to me, it's like a hug in the heart. Woosung is an excellent artist, he is really very talented, I never expected this pairing but he completely surpassed everything💜
I remember when I first saw the tracklist I was so excited to listen this song because I love THE ROSE band and woosung voice and when I see he is featuring on YOONGI'S song I was over the moon and eagerly waiting for the album to drop I have a very High expectations for this and they don't disappoint me at all it's immediately became my fav song from this album . I remember crying while reading the lyrics because it's hit home to me 🥹🥹🥹🥹
Snooze is Yoongi's masterpiece. Sooo devastatingly beautiful. Yoongi is such a deep person. I can't even explain how much I love him. He is so brilliant.
Ryuichi Sakamoto was/is 1 of the most important & successful Asian musicians ever. A renowned pianist & composer (amongst other things), he won an Oscar, a BAFTA, a Grammy + 2 Golden Globes etc for his original music. He is considered a pioneer of techno-music, often experimenting & blending sounds/ instruments from East & West. As THE musical giant that many (Asian) young musicians aspire to, it’s most significant & deeply meaningful for Mr Sakamoto to collaborate w Suga; (*he’s actually the one playing the gorgeous piano background in this song).
This was prerecorded for his documentary “road to dday “ which is about the making up of the album. It’s pretty good , highly recommended specially if you are interested how he makes music. Also the sound is not that different that so far away. Which is from his first mixtape which probably was his intention cuz he quote that song. Dday is a summary of agust D work through the years and ending that chapter with the POV of looking forward for the future. First mixtape is past POV , the second was present POV aka how he has changed as a person and musically, and how everyone does that, and Dday what I wrote it. If he comes back as Agust D later it will be interesting to see in which POV of his life he does his music.
♦️Here is excerpt from Suga’s rolling stone magazine interview about his d-day album: Throughout D-DAY, Suga reflects on the idea of “liberation,” rapping about his search for freedom from the structures of the world and his own anxious thoughts. Yet the album posits that music, and the emotional process of making it, might be a form of freedom in itself. Here is excerpt from when Agust’D song “Snooze” is talked about: Growing up in Daegu, South Korea, Suga taught himself how to rap and produce long before he dreamed of becoming a K-pop idol. As a teen, he would practice sampling by making beats from the instrumental scores of Ryuichi Sakamoto, the famed composer and Yellow Magic Orchestra member who died in March at the age of 71. D-DAY marks a full-circle moment for Suga, who was able to meet and collaborate with his music hero on the album cut “Snooze,” which also features Korean indie rock singer Woosung of The Rose. Road to D-DAY captures Suga and Sakamoto’s first meeting, in which they discuss their motivations for music-making and take turns playing each other Sakamoto’s “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence” on the piano. The delicate piano chords of that classic song and Sakamoto’s string scoring style were Suga’s inspirations while making “Snooze,” a moving trip-hop song that is dedicated to all the emerging artists who were inspired to create because of BTS, he tells Sakamoto in the documentary. “I wanted this song to give them some strength. ‘I know it’s hard, but it’ll be okay […] I’ll catch you if you’re afraid to fall,’” he explains. It’s a masterful example of Suga’s ability to offer words of solace to his listeners, as he does on “Life Goes On,” BTS’ Billboard No. 1 hit song that he reinterprets into alternative hip-hop on D-DAY. 👍🙏❤️🔥🔥😍🤩🌟💫✨
I really love this song, it makes me feel like I'm not alone in this world. Everytime I hear it I like to close my eyes and just feel the emotions. Never gonna get tired of saying how much I love the way yoongi can express feeling in his song without having to read the lyrics❤
snooze is my favorite song from the d-day album!! and so far away is one of my favorite solo songs from yoongi in general so i got so excited and emotional when i realized he connected the two songs. also woosung's voice on the hook and ryuichi sakamoto's piano add so much to it💓
What a beautifully realistic song and Woosung sounds amazing. I've actually been listening to The Rose and they are amazing. Its an actual band with instruments. Y'all should definitely check them out.
Ryuichi Sakamoto composed music for the movie "The Last Emperor" that Suga saw as a child and became a fan. Sakamoto also won an Oscar for that movie. This was the last project that Sakamoto did before he past.
This performance is from Yoongi's documentary (Suga: Road to D-Day) on Disney+. This has always been my favorite song from the album and the fact that I had been both a Black Rose (The Rose's fandom name), and an ARMY for years before this collab came to be made it 1000 times more impactful for me. I had been wishing for a BTS x The Rose collab of some sort and then had a dream where Yoongi and Woosung specifically were good friends (this was before it was known that they know each other and before we found out about this album).
I was sad when i saw that u guys reacted to this on patreon cuz i wanna see your reaction to this song, but thank you for posting this on youtube now. Thank you so much, i really appreciate it!!!💜💜💜
I watched the documentary this clip is from (Road to D-Day) before hearing the album. I had to stop it in the middle to look up who Woosung was. Now a hardcore The Rose/Woosung fan. The Rose are an indirect rock band. I love this collab, prob my favourite on D-Day. It’s so gorgeous and lush. Yoongi’s message is so kind.
You guys should check out Woosung and his band The Rose. Their first song was Sorry. Woosung has an incredible voice. The Rose in later albums sings in English a lot because they have worldwide fame more so than Korean. But earlier work is in both. They are very nice people.
🔥❣Agust’D Snooze performance from day 3 of final d-day concert 4K fancam by channel Choi’s Lab, is also a must to react to! It was one of the most beautiful, ever so stunningly emotional heartfelt performances yet from Yoongi, what made it all the more so heartfelt & chilling was the audience singing along ever so loudly especially in the parts where Yoongi stepped back trying to hold in the tears! It was like a truly full circle moment. This song is such an inspirational, ever so meaningful, beautiful song! This Fancam in particular, you can really hear army singing along so spine-chillingly, goosebump giving, just so overwhelmingly amazing to hear! ❤🔥😭🥺😍🔥
✨Glad you reacted to Agust’D “Snooze”. Such an amazing, heartfelt, meaningful, emotional, inspirational song that Yoongi put so much thought & effort into. 👍🙏🥰 Ryuichi Sakamoto, was a legendary composer & actor who was such an inspiration & whom Yoongi (Suga’s real name) admired greatly, was able to spend time with shortly before he passed away at age 70. 😔 Shown here in this excellent fan made vid by elisssa are clips from behind the scenes, also showing scenes with Suga/Yoongi. Ryuichi even, I believe, played the piano in parts. Woosung is an outstandingly amazing vocalist who is in an alternative group called the Rose. The lyrics, as usual, always so emotional, heartfelt, at times gut wrenching , so meaningful, & inspirational. This time Agust’D/ Suga wrote this with up and coming artists in mind to help ease their road, encourage to keep going, by sharing some of the ordeals he’s gone through to obtain the success, to get to where he achieved to be. ❤️🔥🔥😍✨💫
Ooo wowwww what a song reaction u hv choosen...proud proud ❤.... though the song is very meaningful and deep..still thanks to ccw for this reaction. Much love ❤❤
snooze and life goes on are my top 2 on this album and yoongi is my number 1 forever bias because his music just speaks to me on such a personal level im pretty sure i listened to those 2 songs every single day last year from when it released😅😅
stop because ive always wanted yo guy to check out woosung and his band i really think you guys would enjoy their stuff woosunh came out with an album a couple months ago you guys should def check him and his band out sometime IM MANIFESTING IT!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember the first time I heard this song on his album I knew it had some deep and meaningful lyrics even though I didn’t understand what he was saying. And when I finally read the English lyrics I remember actually tearing up because it was just so beautiful and heart felt. Hope you guy’s had a great Christmas!💜
I have such an emotional attachment to this song 😭💜 Yoongi really is a precious person for writing something like this... It's the kind of lyrics I needed. The D-DAY album is a great treasure. You could react to the video "A compilation of JIN's hidden vocals and high notes adlibs", Jin has many vocals that are in the background tracks and that are often not noticed, but that would leave you very impressed. Also react to "Jin, The king of high notes". Kim Seokjin is simply a delight to listen to.
I hope you listen to the rose too on your private time...they are a dope band🔥🔥🔥..I love live bands like you guys and they are perfect though am not a black rose😅😅..woosung got my eyes fr after this song ❤️❤️
My most favorite dday track! ❤❤❤ Yoongi really captivates all the emotions I have inside me. Indeed, my bias. When I started looking into him, his soul, ideas, emotions really made me like him.
This is a great song, I love it s much, this I believe is from the Disney D-Day documentary, in that same documentary you see where he meets Mr.Sakamoto. Woosung is I believe American, his band is great I love the Rose 🥀. Beauty and the Beast, Cure, two of my Favs. My husband who does not like K-Pop likes the Back to Me. Thanks again guys. Also check out IU Palette with Suga where they sing live and talk about this song. If you haven’t already. 💜
I know BTS is the main focus on this channel but I think you guys would just love The Rose, Woosung who is on this song is part of that band and also has solo work. I think reactions to the bands like The Rose and Xdinary Heroes would be great and then if you guys ever wanted to venture out to other k-pop groups Ateez and StrayKids are also great to check out!
All members of day6 completed their military service at the end of 2023, and they've been blowing up in korea this year so much that their songs topped on k-charts all year long. Everyone, by that I mean non-kpop fans and gp of all generations, knows their songs by heart and got their music playing everywhere.

I am a bit confused about Daniel saying this is for Yoongi's birthday week. But Yoongi's birthday is not until March 9th. It is Taehyung who will have his birthday on Monday, December 30th. I love this song so much though, and I am glad you are reacting to it. Snooze introduced me to Woosung and discovered The Rose.
Hi, CCW! Love all your reactions! I think all moms do that snooze a little and go again, specially with small kids. I do that a lot when my son was a toddler and still do now that I’m already 60. Snooze for 10 mins and ready to go.😅😂
Hi everyone!

Perfect collaboration with Woosung of the Rose, both Yoongi and the Rose have empowering songs❤❤
You have to react to THE ROSE its Woosung Band, They are really good!
this is my favorite b side from this album and woosung voice it so amazing i had a chance to see his group THE ROSE live they where so good
✨Glad you reacted to Agust’D “Snooze”. ❤️🔥🔥😍✨💫
My favourite song from the Album!
Ooo wowwww what a song reaction u hv choosen...proud proud ❤.... though the song is very meaningful and deep..still thanks to ccw for this reaction. Much love ❤❤
I was really hoping you would do a search of Ryuichi Sakamoto, he deserve it. And maybe than listen to some of his work as you are piano lovers

snooze and life goes on are my top 2 on this album and yoongi is my number 1 forever bias because his music just speaks to me on such a personal level im pretty sure i listened to those 2 songs every single day last year from when it released😅😅
Yoongi is the sweetest, selfless, kindest, warmest person and yet he’s being painted the villain by kmedia and kpo0pies.

my fav song from dday 🥹 the whole album is just so good
I remember the first time I heard this song on his album I knew it had some deep and meaningful lyrics even though I didn’t understand what he was saying. And when I finally read the English lyrics I remember actually tearing up because it was just so beautiful and heart felt. Hope you guy’s had a great Christmas!💜
You should definitely react to the rose .. they are so underrated yet so talented ..
This song ...is deep meaning makes me cry.....
You know guys just if you ever want to check out some other stuff you should really check "the rose" they are really good❤❤❤❤
GUYSSS THANKSSS FORR THISSSS THIS SONG IS EVERYTHINGGGGGGG
You guys are so talented! Cousins that can play piano… does your whole family play instruments? Aunts? Uncles? Other cousins?
I have such an emotional attachment to this song 😭💜 Yoongi really is a precious person for writing something like this... It's the kind of lyrics I needed. The D-DAY album is a great treasure.
You could react to the video "A compilation of JIN's hidden vocals and high notes adlibs", Jin has many vocals that are in the background tracks and that are often not noticed, but that would leave you very impressed. Also react to "Jin, The king of high notes". Kim Seokjin is simply a delight to listen to.
Check out woosung(the rose) ILYSB
I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!
i would love seeing them react to the rose 😭
Love woosung ❤
The Rose- The definition of ugly (live performance) | Vevo
The Rose- Sour
The Rose- Alive
Woosung is just a great singer love The Rose
The lyrics... 😢❤❤
Idk why I still can't listen to this song without crying ughhhh😢😢😢

Love it sm💜
Been waiting for sooo long 😂
THIS IS MY PERSONAL FAVORITES SONG❤
my favorite song of all time
This my favorite song from Yoongi. So amazing
OMGGG FINALLYYY THANKS 🥺🥺🥺💜💜💜💜
To coś wyjątkowego! Piękne wykonanie.! Sugaaaa!
Can you post " Dear my friend and snooze live " from the d-day final
I think you guys will enjoy checking out k-bands, especially the Rose and Day6!
All members of day6 completed their military service at the end of 2023, and they've been blowing up in korea this year so much that their songs topped on k-charts all year long. Everyone, by that I mean non-kpop fans and gp of all generations, knows their songs by heart and got their music playing everywhere.
please watch agust d d'day concert seesaw stage performance, he plays the guitar really well.
🔥❣Agust’D Snooze performance from day 3 of final d-day concert 4K fancam by Choi’s Lab th-cam.com/video/pk6HPFdk2hM/w-d-xo.html is also a must to react to! ❤🔥😭🥺😍🔥
I am a bit confused about Daniel saying this is for Yoongi's birthday week. But Yoongi's birthday is not until March 9th. It is Taehyung who will have his birthday on Monday, December 30th.
I love this song so much though, and I am glad you are reacting to it. Snooze introduced me to Woosung and discovered The Rose.
this was filmed back in march it was posted on patreon in march
Hi, CCW! Love all your reactions! I think all moms do that snooze a little and go again, specially with small kids. I do that a lot when my son was a toddler and still do now that I’m already 60. Snooze for 10 mins and ready to go.😅😂
You should listen too original version too it sounds dreamy
comfort song 🫂
I wish you reacted to the live version of snooze…. It never disappoints
Did they just not..?
@Moniminiluvv i meant concert version ;)
@Esora1306 ohh they kinda did on Patreon tho lol
I'm going to assume the reason for this same video, which was uploaded in March on Pateron, is for the TH-cam viewers
This is an entertaining episode 🫶
ESPERÉ TANTO POR ESTO.
Someday I hope to watch your reaction to The Rose, band where Woosung is from.
