I did want to include depending on your terrain/area you most certainly can receive the far west satellites. I can cover 22W to 129W (East Tennessee) if I roof mount the dish and motor. Just check footprints before hand as well.
H.264 is the standard video codec for most FTA satellite channels. Some (very few) channels are using H.265. I can't see H.264 going anywhere for a long time. OTA (antenna) channels still use H.262 (MPEG-2)!

No, you won’t get any cable channels. You can get some networks like NBC, PBS, or digital subchannels like CourtTV, Laff, Bounce, PBS Kids, Create, Newsy, and quite a few others spread around across different satellites.
It should be able to. Orby dishes have a linear kU Band LNB, which can be used to receive free satellite TV. It should work nicely with this receiver. I have lots of other videos on free satellite TV, dishes and receivers on my channel. Thanks for watching.

Unfortunately you are very much wrong, I have bought several receivers including the amino and have came to the conclusion that the amino is the worst of any receivers available. The Koqit k1 is definitely the best as far as picture quality and easy to use unit that is sold in my opinion. This receiver will download whatever information on any of the satellites provided without changing any information its actually the best for beginners, and it has the capability to unlock paid channels in some situations!
That’s your opinion. I only promote free satellite television on my channel. This receiver does a decent job, but I generally prefer the Amiko receiver.

Probably would, but you’ll likely need a bigger dish, like a 39” or 48”.

It should work for any satellite, but it will only receive free channels that are in the clear. It won’t receive pay channels.
