I'm so glad you posted this. I got a little water in my battery and it stopped charging (blinking red on the charger). I cleaned the battery with WD40 and tried your trick. It fixed it right up!! You ROCK!!

Thanks. I had one battery on a pole saw that stopped charging. I bought a new one and after watching this, I now have 2 good batteries. It worked out good because Iwas going to buy a second one anyway. Now I can keep up all my batteries if they ever stop charging.
great vid!! I had same problem but only had one battery. I got my car battery trickle charger on it for 5 minutes just enough to get it recognized by the actual battery charger and worked.

Yoo blessing this comment legit took me from mad at life I replaced ever single one of those things not long ago to less mad at life in less time then the jump start a snap on 18v needs. Second I heard that beep I lost my cool. Sounded so crisp on the video never considered it to have been from his house. Your pain also recognized as a save homie I was def about to go and do everything I know you did just now
Ya I'm in the same boat with only one dead battery. Wondering if I can get one of my RC plane Chargers to bump of voltage enough so the proper charger sees it as a good batter again and starts charging it. And you are correct You tube is great for helping people out.
I would watch more of your content just based on how calm and easy going you were in trying this battery fix, it was a real joy to see you vid, now to try it on a few of my own

Its definitely worth a try, just to give it enough juice to get going.
