If I'm remembering correctly lightning has been observed in space, specifically in portions of space that have a lot of plasma and dust clouds, so not just in the middle of nowhere, but in areas that have a lot of ionized particles.
'Vanguard is my class in Mass Effect' Does that include 3? Distinctly remember any enemy harder than a Marauder had the ability to instagib you, if you got too close. Bit of a bummer when your main attack is teleporting next to an enemy.

I'm not seeing much 4x in this 4x game. It's looking a lot like Freelancer but with space combat out of Star Trek Online. Or is there a whole space strategy part that you just didn't get round to on this let's play?
There is a lot in the game about sending fleets to take over areas, so yes, it does have a lot more 4X than they show here. You don't get to that part until after several hours of storyline, though.
Oh awesome, I am unsure if I'd enjoy this or not cause on one hand space flight, on the other hand I've been decieved by these games making me think they played well
