  • Here we are tunning a 2022 Subaru WRX VB with the fa24 turbo engine. This car features an ETS tmic, ETS intake, ETS jpipe, ETS catback exhaust and a Blouch Performance Turbocharger upgrade. It's being tuned on a COBB Accessport using the Accesstuner Pro Suite of tools. These new cars handle boost very different than the previous generations so that's what we'll primarily be exploring here.

    Hey! That's my car! I have a front mount ready to install, it's just too cold in my garage at the moment. Currently hunting for a local STI transmission also. I have two questions. 1.) Would the ETS header header be worth it? 2.) Is there any other option locally instead of going meth injection?

      Meth injection is a really good option because it adds fuel and cleans the valves. Otherwise for octane we've been using Octanium to great results. We carry it at the shop

      Hey! Did you recently sell this car?

    Just imagine a car with headers, jpipe, a real intercooler and sti trans would do.

    • @WT4T
      @WT4T  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This one has the Jpipe. And I don't need to imagine as ive tuned quite a few of them.

      Wonder in fp gonna come out with a turbo for VB 🤔

    • @WT4T
      @WT4T  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I believe there either already is one or it's in testing. Either way I'm sure FP will have offerings for the platform.

    Just the FYI the new access port does not save your factory tune anymore they remove that step to save time during the first flash instead when you install it it flashes your ECU with a stock tune but does not put your original tune back

    • @WT4T
      @WT4T  ปีที่แล้ว

      It gives you the option but since there's really no other "unlocked" option for tunning these is not as relevant.

    I'm honestly impressed with the numbers from the factory with just a few tweaks 👌🏻 and a smooth graph 🤌🏻

      I really enjoy tuning them. Can't wait for fast flash and a few impassable thresholds to be remedied

    running ets intake and an e50 tune for 400/480. Car will be getting one of these but stage2 job w j-pipe and PI for 600whp hopefully at 6500rpm.

      600 is a stretch for stock location

      Mine is a stg2 Blouch, so 40-50wtq more than stg Blouch.

    What did this car baseline at before the intake, intercooler, and catback system where added? Just want to see a comparison on gains in certain stages.

    I’m back again but I finally finished the tuning last week and we ended at 40 psi but I don’t run that map I’m driving on my 30 psi intelligence mode because I don’t need the 40 psi but I just tuned it for that.

      @@WT4T it does and it’s a little scary and even though I’m coming from 500whp this power feels much different. I also don’t take the rpm to 8500 I just shift at 7000

    Any issues with the factory valvetrain handling the higher revs?

    Have you got to tune any with the kosmic motorsports specd agt 52 mm turbo upgrade wondering how it compares to the blouch

      No I haven't had anyone come in with one

    So does this have the stock turbo with a blouch compressor and turbine upgrade? Or is it a whole new turbo from blouch?

    • @WT4T
      @WT4T  ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't do the install on this car but I believe it is stock housings that have been machined for new compressor and turbine wheels to upgrade it to a 5056 turbo but you'd need to ask Blouch. It's spools identical to stock and just makes more top end so it's really a better turbo choice.

    With this setup how reliable do you think this car would be assuming you aren’t redlining every gear every time u drive it?

    • @WT4T
      @WT4T  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So far our car which is very similar gets driven hard at every opportunity and hasn't had an issue yet.

      @@WT4T any idea what the threshold is for the stock clutch/manual transmission? I ask because I’m actually thinking about buying this exact car in hillsboro lol.

      @WT4T  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @DirksDiggler we've ran ours as high as 380whp 400ftlb and haven't yet had an issue but the way you drive could change that for sure

    what is the safest max rpm can you rev to? 6500?

    • @WT4T
      @WT4T  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Safest? No idea. I've revved our 23 to 7k and nothing bad happened. The OTS maps I've built are 6500 and haven't had any issues yet.
