Story:
So to start off I’d like to say that six is the lady in the maw and mono is the tall man in pale city ,now turns out that the whole thing is a cycle and that cycle starts in pale city where the tall man is the guy in control and his job is to get “the viewers” aka the people in the city hypnotized into dedicating their lives into watching tv and eating slowly fattening them ,now after they are in the shape the tall man wants them to be in he sends them to the hospital where we meet the “doctor” ,now as we see in the city “the viewers” have no face... so the doctors job is to give them one that’s why in the hospital we see a bunch of faces on the wall ,those are faces that the doctor is giving “the viewers”........ do you realize something? That’s right... “the viewers” are “the guests” so after being fattened up and given a face a ferry man takes them to the maw ,now we never saw the ferryman that takes guests in and out of the maw but if you remember little nightmares 1 at the start where we meat the janitor or as people call him “roger” we had to distract him using a tv now once open the tv a song plays... and this song talks about the ferryman and how I think it talks about his relationship with “Veronica” I don’t know who Veronica is but let’s carry on... now that the ferry man takes the guests into the maw they are served food.... and more food and more and more until eventually after being treated to all these meals “six” aka “the lady” lures them into a room and then..... kills them by extracting their soul and killing them.
Now to the people who saw the ending of little nightmares 2 “six” betrays mono and throws him into the “abyss” and after I told you about how six is the lady and mono is the man you’d now that by that point of the game you’ve already killed both of them while they were trying to stop you so six all along knew in little nightmares 2 that there is a cycle and that both of them play a role in it.
So after mono was thrown he ran while the abyss was trying to consume him... he found a chair he sat on the chair and transformed into the man... without knowing about the cycle...
Real quick: the school and the forest are linked together since in the start of little nightmares 2 we see a boy who ran away from the school rotten in a cage after Boeing found by the hunter so the hunters job is to keep kids from escaping the nightmarish school.
It's really not. It has some of the worst controls of any game I've ever played. You just want to be 5edgy6U bc Tim Burton (but really Henry Selick) aesthetic b4b3.

@@angelguzman477 That's a sign of poor game design. Just played it and there's so much lacking. Especially the checkpoint system. You have to start a room all over again rather than from a specific point in the room.

There's definitely a puzzle solving aspect to the game. I could've kept trying/failing until I figured it out but this video helped me with the few spots I had trouble with. I very much enjoyed the game.

the lengths your enemies will go to to investigate every tiny sound in an old creaky ship is pretty admirable.
This is a game I would describe as "gloriously grotesque". It's not a gorefest. It doesn't need to be. It's just hideous and morbid from start to finish, and it is wonderful. A perfect game.

I know that some people tend to dislike gameplays with no commentary or facecam, but honestly some times we just want to see that part of the game again or maybe download a gameplay for edit purposes, so this tipe of video is still very useful imo

The ending is so insane. In the story, it wasn’t Mono’s first time going through the entire journey. In fact, he probably went through that exact journey a countless number of times without remembering it. When he was betrayed by Six the very first time, he grew up to become TV Man, otherwise known as the future Mono. Then fast forward to the future, Mono was somehow able to rebirth and start over again, but he lost all prior memory about Six or the betrayal. Meanwhile, the future Mono, TV Man, knew what was bound to happen to his past self, so he tried to stop Mono and Six from succeeding. TV Man wasn’t the antagonist in the story, Six was. TV Man was Mono’s future self trying to save him from a preventable fate. It doesn’t end there. Now that we know TV Man was Mono all along, there’s another possibility. Mono could be trapped in an endless loop of rebirthing, getting betrayed, and becoming TV Man for the NEXT Mono. The reason why TV Man wants to stop Mono is because he wants to end the infinite loop and save Mono from the inevitable shock and suffering when he gets betrayed. What a game.

But by stealing a little bit of Mono's power she got that "eating" voice inside her head, an never ending hunger. She betrayed Mono for her own safety, because she saw he was too powerful + if you look at the gameplay since she's with Mono she got in danger more and more, and got captured too many times.

Six is a little bit faster at escaping while mono is stronger (he can grab an axe himself) but six can't. , mono is slower at running than six. That's why six was defenseless unlike mono who have a strength to get himself an axe and have superpower.

This game is so trippy oh my god. The scene with her climbing up the side of the ship was incredible. It reminds me of a darker version of Spirited Away. I wonder if they took inspiration from that? Regardless, a really interesting game.
yes! it is inspired by spirited away, theres an article you can read about more similarities. There are a lot of japanese influence in this game overall with the geisha, masks and even some dolls in the janitors lair

The part where six climbs the ship always gave me chills, six looks like a mere ant on this ship, and I don’t think we explored half of it throughout the game
that scene, aside from the ending, is my favorite visual in the entire game. before, it was clear that she was very small in comparison to everything else but seeing her turn into a tiny little yellow dot as she climbs up that ladder _really_ put in perspective just HOW small she is. been six years and i still cant wrap my head around it.

I played this game as a 6 or 7 year old when my big bro was still living in our house. This game is so much fun hut it scared me a little when I did play it at those ages.
This game is so clever. I was socked when I played it at 1:14:32 when I realized my character was on a ship this whole time and everything made sense. Apart from that, I really like its style, its atmosphere and its gameplay, no talking and simple 2.5d world.
